Perfect unit to get your internet beaming fast. Solid unit

Now I get the internet speed I have been paying for. Nearly 2 years I have been promised 300Mbps, from my provider, and still usually only averaged between 220 to 245Mbps. I researched cable modems that I could own, and followed recommendations for the Arris SB8200. I now test regularly to 330Mbps and as high as 345Mbps. This cable modem is an asset to greater internet speed!

It's fast and easy to setup. the piece of mind of not paying monthly for a modem is worth the upfront cost. Works with major cable ISPs.

Easy to set up. Lights are bright and understandable. No connection issues throughout the house with 6 people on pc gaming, streaming, and consoles!

For the cost, including the additional warranty, the modem performs as well as the one I was renting from my ISP without the wireless function which I never used. I have the TP-AC6000 router so now I have all the benefits and bandwidth and it will have paid for itself in 1 year and will save me about $12 a month every month thereafter until it dies.

Plug (activate) and play. Very easy to install. I currently pay for 400mb/s with Spectrum SoCal and burst anywhere from 450/475mb/s. Hardware stays nice and cool.

Needed to upgrade my modem because I upgraded my speed and was having buffering issues. Was easy to install and no more buffering.

Previous SB6141 DOCSIS 3.0 lasted 6 years. ISP upgraded us to 300 Mb service and we started having some unexpected resets and variable speeds. The SB8200 was recommended by ISP and installed with no issues. Registering the warranty was simple via smartphone, although I question why they needed access to pictures and files on the phone. Deleted the app as soon as registration was complete.

This is a very good modem. Works great and no issues. Recommend you buy this modem.

This is not our first Arris modem. We keep coming back because they do the job that we need. We upgraded to this one due to the DOCSIS 3.1 and faster speeds. It is performing as expected.

Old modem was having problems after 5 years so got a new one this one has plenty of broad band potential for faster internet that’s coming. Work great out of box once my provider set up on their end.

Needed to replace old modem. This one was similar to my old one and was relatively easy to install and get working improved computer download speed

It's easy to set up, price and outlook are good. After set up for couple weeks became unstable in operation, required to re-start almost once every other week.
