As the title implies, a DOCSIS 3.1 modem was required to handle the speeds of Cox Gigablast. Had good luck with my previous ARRIS modem so I went with what works.

Great product, functions as it should. Replaced the previous surfboard model I had for 5 plus years.

Works Great no issues and doesnt take up space..I like it..

Cable speed doubled once I replaced my older DOCSIS 3.0 cable Modem.

Works great never had a problem with it I do recommend it.

So far so good but i do have 1 issue. I'm not sure if it's on the Comcast end or modem. What happens is that when all the light green it's running at older 3.0. When all the light are Blue then it's running at the newer 3.1 "speeds". To be honest I don't see a performance difference between them both. And I'm not sure why or how it's changes. (I have the 400-450 mbs download and 12 upload on average.). Other then that I haven't noticed too many issues. Might not be a great if you have full gig internet plan. But again I also don't know if it's modem or Comcast.

It’s a great modem for 1 gig, but just not strong enough and it stays hot even just sitting out in the open.

This was an easy choice for me because I’m with Cox. The SURFboard modem has always been my go to.

So far this modem has been doing its job. No problems, easy set up.

Took the Best Buy expert opinion on this mesh system and seperate modem and it works perfectly with the easiest of setup process. Would buy and recommend to anyone.

I purchased the modem with the Orbi Mesh System and I gotta say I'm not disappointed in the least.

This modem works best with my eero WiFi system. Not so bad for a three level split home

I have been using this modem for 2 weeks now. I like that it is a small device modem-only device that pairs well with my Deco 6e mesh. I am able to achieve my advertised ISP speed flawlessly and consistently. Installation was easy and so was the setup. I only had to call Optimum and provide the MAC address. Once it is done the device reboots twice and then it starts working. I only had to plug in my current router and it reconfigured itself to work with the new modem after 5 mins. No new setup was needed. I see complaints about excessive heat coming out of the device. As long as the modem is located in a good well-ventilated place, the device will dissipate heat from the top and be cool on its side panels. I currently have a network ran on Moca adapters for Ethernet backhaul connection of 3 6e WiFi Deco. They support around 40 devices between WiFi and LAN and they all run at top speeds. If you are hesitant about buying, don’t hesitate. Just buy it, you will be happy. Save yourself the the rental fee that your ISP charges.

Works very well and have no issue since setting up. Had one prior to this one and it lasted about 3 years before it started to fail.
