This Modem is a great upgrade!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Be careful when looking into modems, if your speeds with your current Internet Service Provider do not require any significant, this modem is probably overkill - but at the very least you'll be future proofed and this modem should last you at least ~5 years and hopefully more. My download speeds are only 300 down/30 up, so I really didn't need this, but I'm considering getting a gigablast soon. Even going from the 3.0 DOCSIS Arris modem to this new one, I saw an increase of speeds of almost 100 megabytes in some of my wireless devices, so I would recommend this!

Great Device
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have a 1GBit connection at home from Comcast and this 32 channel modem was surely an upgrade to the supplied modem from provider. We’ve had absolutely no connectivity issues since we’ve made the swap. Very satisfied!

Super Cable Modem Replacement
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have Cox Communications for my internet and to me, this was a no brainer. I was paying $15.00 per month to rent their equipment. I bought this and it will pay for itself in about a year. It was a breeze to install and get up and running. I did have to contact Cox to give them my pertinent information (MAC Address and Serial Number) and then voila! Up and running! I did like the ease of the Cox App for Parental features. However, once I configured my Google WiFi router, it worked perfectly. I highly recommend this.

Fast and Stable!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had switched from an older model Arris to my cable company provided modem. While the speeds were good there were frequent disconnects. I get about 30 Mbps more speed consistently with this modem and much more reliable. I think it just deals with small errors better. Just one note, I had to call my cable company to register the modem. It would not work online or through voice response.

Works well
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this modem due to a friend’s recommendation. 1st modem ever purchased. I have always leased a modem from my local cable TV service. I needed a DOCS 3.1 to take advantage of full streaming TV. Easy setup through my local cable TV service. I would have given it 5 stars except there are no options to login in a tweek the modem settings. After logging in, you can review the factory settings but cannot make any changes. The user manual was no help and only had minimal information. Overall, it does what a modem should do.

So far so good...
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This modem was purchased to save rental fee. We purchased a netgear nighthawk router to go with it. We are subscribing to 500/50 cable internet speeds with WOW (Wide Open West) in Cleveland. Consistently getting 500+ download speeds any time of day (wired or wireless) Upstream tends to fluctuate due to network congestion (ranges from 25-55 Mbps) Definitely good combo to save modem rental fee and/or ensure a good quality setup to maximize the speeds you are paying for!

Blazing fast
||Posted . Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Arris is great. As my internet provider increased their speed needed a new modem. Had an old Arris so upgraded. Works great and handles faster speeds.
