I trust Arris a lot! Got this one for my son's room, for his Xbox. Works great, easy setup, and minimal space use!

When I first purchased this modem, I had some issues with daily disconnects, which my provider (Astound Broadband) insisted was the modem. Since the modem was brand new and I had known this company's service to be less reliable from a prior experience, I didn't believe them. I dumped that provider 3 weeks into my new plan, and went back to Xfinity for a killer deal on gigabit internet. This modem has been running reliably for six months straight now, issue free. The only time this modem disconnects is when I power it down. Two thumbs up!

Replaced an outdated modem. Simple, direct install and has performed great ever since.

Easy setup and fast speeds. If you have xfinity you will still need them to come out if you upgrade your speed.

This modulator/de-modulator works very well to receive and then transfer all kinds of information from some obscure computer in the sky to your own interweb connected devices in your home. You can now obtain all kinds of false and misleading, not to mention entertaining information at blazingly fast speeds. It's almost like instant gratification for a person's Facebook addiction or Netflix binge. Best of all, if you decide you have had too much information overload and quit your cable provider, you get to keep the device as a memento.

Simple and Perfect Modem for most all situations. You can’t mess get much better!

I use this with the Google mesh system. It works well most of the time. I rarely notice it, which is a gopd sign. I don't recall having to reset it in the year plus I have had it. My internet provider is more of a limiting factor than this is.

Replaced my old surfboard with this new one. I should have done this as soon as I got rid of att and switched to xfinity. Trying to be frugal and use an old modem. But I was having random internet drops to wireless devices not connecting to even WiFi after certain amounts of devices gone over 20. My speed test was terrible getting only between 20-100 mbps when I ordered 400 mbps service. Put this new modem in and I have been problem free ever since.

Was looking for an upgrade on my old modem For gaming and internet speed and found this one it is one of the best and performs amazingly.

Worked exactly as expected. Only issue was me not reading directions as thinking I could swap without contacting cable company.

This is faster than my old one and there no lag anymore netflix steams just fine and supports all off my devices.

I bought it to replace crapy one provided by Optimum - Ubee. It solved 1 Gig internet issue. I was deciding between Netgear CM1100 and Arris SB8200. While they have same Broadcom CPU, Arris has 3GB RAM vs 256 and twice smaller. Great Arris tech support. And, best of it - Free One Day Best Buy shipping without Amazon_Prime fee.

Works well with Xfinity. Easy to set up. Works well with Eero pro network pieces.

Great modem, for gig speeds. And I love that it’s a 3.1. So good way to future proof for the next 10 years

So far do good, haven’t had a issue as of yet, last modem gave me nothing but problems over and over again.easy set up

Purchased December 6, 2020. So far, the modem has not disconnected from internet until today, January 8, 2021. The modem I replaced was an old Motorola Arris that disconnected 3 times a week before I finally replaced it. Today, the disconnect was an outrage in my area. Very happy with the upgrade so far. I did notice a lot of reviews mentioning that this model got very warm. I don’t think it gets any warmer than my older model. I had no issues activating with Cox.
