Great replacement for poor Spectrum provided modem

Bought this unit because the modem provided by Spectrum was not functioning correctly. The WAN port would only negotiate at 100Mb/s rather than 1Gb. It worked for a while but then just stopped, This limited my download speeds to about 80Mb. After replacing, my download speeds were about 400Mb, which is close to what my service was provisioned for.

Pro,
1. It's faster than the older DOCSIS 3.O format.
2. It's the newest standard for most ISPs.
3. If you're running more than one network it has 2 Ethernet lines.
4. It's not the most expensive.
Cons,
1. I'd rather have had a single 2.5 ghz out than two 1 ghz outputs.
2. No USB port for network sharing.
3. Since it's doesn't have a 2.5 ghz output it's not much of an upgrade over the older 6000 series of modems.
The sales person at Best Buy LIED to me saying this modem would support a 2.5 Ethernet connection. NEVER TRUST BEST BUY SALES PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!! Eventually I'll get another modem that has a 2.5 ghz output, but to let you all know they're much more expensive. For the moment this will do.

Works as described. The only weird thing is that only one ether et port can be used. Might be an isp thing but it's weird

Needed modem to support higher speed Cox connection of 500 down / 50 up. It has worked well!
I prefer a cable modem without Wi-Fi as I have my own router. I usually end up replacing the cable modem every 3-4 years as they start to slow down or get damaged after a storm.

Works fantastic and easy to set up. I purchased this to use with COX Cable as they told me that two accounts could then be run off of it from the one line into the house. When the technician was told what I was trying to do he said COX systems don’t work that way. He installed a splitter off of the line into the house and I run two modems from the. Splinter to get the two accounts working in the house.
Highly recommend the modem.....it is excellent.

I set up this modem with xfinity as my ISP with 300mbps plan. I get around 330mbps download speeds directly connected to the modem. So it seems to be doing a good job. I purchased this modem to future-proof the internet in my home since xfinity only offers gigabit internet for now.
I have an Amplifi Alien router connected to it which has worked out grewat so far. Being about 50 feet + 2 drywalls between the router and I, I am able to see about 326mbps download speeds.

Brought this to use with Spectrum. I have the 500gb service. Once activated this modem works perfectly. I paired with google mesh. I routinely get 550gb from the modem to the mesh. This is only a modem. It is not a router or a wifi access point. This is what I was looking for and it works perfectly.

After a number of terrible outages, speeds, reliability and such using the modem Spectrum supplied I decided to by my own modem and this modem is the best decision I made. Not a single drop, delay, nothing compared to the headaches I was dealing with. I would buy this again any time!
