After replacing existing comcast system, noticed lag dissapear and overall ping time increases immediately! Size is nice and compace but lots of vents for heat dissapation. I have mine in a wired structured box which gets decent air circulation and its been working amazingly well!

Hight speed, very easy to assemble. however 3.1 is only needed if your internet speed is more than 200

Fairly easy to setup, speeds are as advertised. Just what I needed to defeat the all-in-boxes the cable companies try to sell.

My Comcast owned modem was cutting out frequently. In total frustration I went online for a new one. Once Comcast/Xfinity synced up with the ARRIS modem, everything worked flawlessly. (I already had a router in place that I just had to reset). Now I save $14 a month from renting Comcast’s modem, and I don’t have to restart modem all the time (when they picked up the old modem, the tech told me it was very outdated).

I was skeptical at first in purchasing my own Modem due to the ease of just renting from internet provider, but the setup and ease of use for this modem was very easy and anyone could do it.

Excellent modem. Very easy to setup, has TWO ethernet ports when most modems only have ONE ethernet port. Almost full "plug and play" which is very nice. One call to the internet provider and it was registered and on line. No complaints.

Best modem Ive ever used. Handles 1 gig speeds with great results. Lasts for years. Love it.

Fast modem excellent speed! Easy to use and if you have a good router easy to install.

Needed to upgrade from the model below this one after an internet upgrade. Even though it was rated for well over 1gbs it kept overheating. This one fixed the problem and is nowhere near as hot.

Bought this after having another Arris modem that was going strong for 7 years and then we moved and the ISP we use didn’t allow it since it wasn’t a DOCSIS 3 modem. So far, I have had zero drops of service from it, even with 4k streaming and other pretty intense uses! I would definitely recommend it to anyone in search of a router unless you are going over the gigabit internet with your provider.

I couldn't be happier with this modem. A tech from Mediacom recommended this if I upgraded my internet service to 1 Gig service, so I did. It has been totally reliable and given me no issues. I wanted to wait several months before posting my review to make I didn't run into any issues and regret a positive review. Nothing to regret.

No complaints, it works, it gives the speeds it says it would, it was easy to set up.
