I've been using Arris products for over a decade and they've never failed me. I purchased this one from BestBuy at a great price and it's been just what I needed to replace my client's ISP gateway rental.

Great replacement for poor Spectrum provided modem

The WAN port would only negotiate at 100Mb/s rather than 1Gb. It worked for a while but then just stopped, This limited my download speeds to about 80Mb. After replacing, my download speeds were about 400Mb, which is close to what my service was provisioned for.

Futureproof your network with blazing speed

I needed to get a Docsis 3.0 modem. Moved to this model and bam! My internet experience is way better. No more waiting for streaming media to buffer. Great having two Gigabit hardwire ports as well. One for my Wireless router and another for my switch for all of my extra hard wired equipment in the room. Also this is Docis 3.1 so it will be ready for the faster service once xFinity rolls this out to our area.

ARRIS Modem

In total frustration I went online for a new one. Once Comcast/Xfinity synced up with the ARRIS modem, everything worked flawlessly. (I already had a router in place that I just had to reset). Now I save $14 a month from renting Comcast’s modem, and I don’t have to restart modem all the time (when they picked up the old modem, the tech told me it was very outdated).
