Works well for me woth the Google mesh system

I rarely notice it, which is a gopd sign. I don't recall having to reset it in the year plus I have had it. My internet provider is more of a limiting factor than this is.

Reliable and fast!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this after having another Arris modem that was going strong for 7 years and then we moved and the ISP we use didn’t allow it since it wasn’t a DOCSIS 3 modem. So far, I have had zero drops of service from it, even with 4k streaming and other pretty intense uses! I would definitely recommend it to anyone in search of a router unless you are going over the gigabit internet with your provider.

What a difference this router made.

Comcast service tech was surprised I was even getting the download speeds I was with the old Motorola, he said it hadn't been supported by Comcast / Xfinity in years. Finally gave in and was shocked at the constant reliable connection I'm getting. This modem and my Google wifi I have not a single dead zone anyplace in or outside my home. Setup took all of 15 - 20 minutes.

Docsis 3.1 capable
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced my Netgear combination cable modem and WiFi with the SurfBoard cable modem and mesh wifi. I liked the SurfBoard because it is docsis 3.1 capable AND it has 32 download and 8 upload channels, plenty enough for the more than 30 devices we have connected to the internet. Note that your ISP must be docsis 3.1 compatible for the modem to connect via 3.1. Xfinity has docsis 3.1 for download channels but not upload in my area in northern Illinois. Otherwise if falls back to docsis 3.0.
