I had a lesser model with 17 units in my house needing WiFi. I had drop internet and slow issues. My wife would lose college homework. My kids both have iPads. Two XBOX ONE, 4 cable boxes that require internet. Not to mention all the cell phones. We haven’t experienced ANY lag in video downloads. No streaming freezes, not one issue. I’m extremely happy with the purchase. Don’t do like I did and go through two lesser models and waste money. I wish I had went big the first time.

Reliable modem, necessary to be able to get gigabyte speed

My good friend who works in IT recommended this to me. The technician who installed my internet was impressed by this purchase telling me it was an excellent choice for a signal as well as security. It was easy to install.

Works great. Was a breeze to setup with Spectrum. Getting slightly faster speeds. Also, having your own modem allows you to see connection status. The modem made me realize I needed a forward path attenuator to bring my downstream power levels down.

Bought this to replace the one I was renting from Xfinity. Easily handles gigabit speeds and very easy setup!

replaced a Arris cable/modem model. had to buy a separate router. This model works only for a cable connection but gives you the opportunity to also increase your speeds to gigabit could not do that with previous version. you will need a separate Router. Easy to setup. you will need to notify your ISP so they can connect properly after you setup which requires powering on and connecting a computer. recommend via lan cable first or to a desk top.

Get good reliability and speed. Only wish the lights weren't as bright but not a big deal.

Bought this to replace an older one that stopped working. Setup was easy and this newer model supports faster speeds.

Our previous version of the Arris but the dust one day and so, it was time to upgrade. We currently don’t have gigabit service, but it is currently being wired on our street, so we’ve gotten this fella here and it’s worked like a charm. No issues whatsoever.

When I first connected this it was buffering a lot. 10 minutes or so. So I contacted Arris support chat. Fast response. We checked the settings. All where fine. So I unplugged modem and router. Waited a minute modem the router plugged in. That did it.. this thing is screaming fast. 4 simultaneous 4K TVs running in 4K without a hitch. I pay for 400mbs. 459mps. Is what I get now. Recommend highly.

I am very pleased with this purchase, the speed is significantly faster and no lags, another great product by Motorola.
