After installing this new modem I was impressed with the increased speed. So far this modem has been reliable. Would recommend.

The SURFboard has worked out great for us. We needed a new modem to take full advantage of the Xfinity internet plan we had and the Arris was on the list of recommended modems. We ordered online and it was delivered right to our house. Setup was easy, although I did not realize the need to communicate with Comcast that I had equipment. Once I figured that out, everything worked as advertised and has been working well ever since.

Really simple to set up and my Internet speed increased greatly after installing this modem. Good choice for the price.

Working good Speed is good and reliable, got this after my "NETGEAR - Nighthawk 32 x 8 DOCSIS 3.1 Cable Modem" stopped working after 2 months

Haven't had any problems with the Surfboard modem. Was easy to set up (took only about 5-7 minutes to apportion it through Xfinity), and get great bandwidth speed whether it's at Gig speed or less.

Improved Internet speed dramatically - easy setup and worked seamlessly with Cox internet.

I have xfinity/Comcast and am very happy with the compatibility and performance of this modem.

This cable modem is blazing fast and reliable. Need to replace old unit.

This isn't my first Arris SURFboard and likely not going to be my last. The setup was very easy and I especially appreciate how quickly my new wifi system was set up and running.

Comcast wants me to pay to rent their Modem and I refuse and they blame my personal Modem as the reason for their crappy over paid and under performing service. I pay for the 200mbps and I get 45-76 download speeds. They said my less than 2 year old modem was issue so I got this one and it maybe helped a little with speed but now they have to find another reason to blame. I like the modem look and performance. I would buy again.

Our internet was going down at least two or three times a week for at least a year after I upgraded the router. I thought I would have to upgrade everything then talked with Cox and they said it maybe the modem and then Best Buy and got the right modem. I hooked it up and after four weeks it hasn’t gone off line once. You will need to call Cox to register your modem!

Bought this to replace Xfinity's own modem. Setup was a breeze, it was up and running in less than 10 minutes - and my speeds are even a touch faster now than they were before. No reason to pay a monthly rental fee when you can buy this instead.

I bought the high-end router to avoid renting from my ISP. Set up was instant. It works fine right out of the box.
