Wicked fast cable modem. Awesome speeds. Works fantastic with gigabit service

Modem is working well. Easy setup and smaller than I thought it would be. Very happy.

Pro, 1. It's faster than the older DOCSIS 3.O format. 2. It's the newest standard for most ISPs. 3. If you're running more than one network it has 2 Ethernet lines. 4. It's not the most expensive. Cons, 1. I'd rather have had a single 2.5 ghz out than two 1 ghz outputs. 2. No USB port for network sharing. 3. Since it's doesn't have a 2.5 ghz output it's not much of an upgrade over the older 6000 series of modems. The sales person at Best Buy LIED to me saying this modem would support a 2.5 Ethernet connection. NEVER TRUST BEST BUY SALES PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!! Eventually I'll get another modem that has a 2.5 ghz output, but to let you all know they're much more expensive. For the moment this will do.

This modem is fast. Works great with my apple airport tower. Very fast and stable. Stop renting your modem.

The modem works great, once you get it configured with Comcast. TIP- do not (at least initially) plug another device into the LAN port on the back. I plugged our PS4 into it, along with the new Netgear Nighthawk router, and Comcast couldn’t get it to work. It took my office IT guy to help me troubleshoot the issue and get it configured. Our internet went from (0.1-30 MB/S) up to around 250MB/S. Major improvement!

I initially bought it because my ISP was charging me a device rental fee, but I am so glad i did. My speeds are way way up, and my connectivity issues are inexistant. I got lucky and got it on sale, but I'd gladly pay the full price knowing what i know now.

This modem will provide a great base for your network and highly recommend. Its great for anyone with cable internet, but not for use with gigabyte. I have used it for quite awhile and it has worked flawlessly. Allows for multiple streaming devices - I have around 25 devices connected with maybe 5 active at any one time - and they all work well. Of course router is an important part of the equation too.

Our internet was going down at least two or three times a week for at least a year after I upgraded the router. I thought I would have to upgrade everything then talked with Cox and they said it maybe the modem and then Best Buy and got the right modem. I hooked it up and after four weeks it hasn’t gone off line once. You will need to call Cox to register your modem!

I have Comcast service and modem is giving me higher speed then I'm paying for. And it's ready for the future speeds.

I’ve owned a 15 year old Arris modem and wanted to upgrade to the newer technology. It really has come a long way from 15 years ago. Speeds are phenomenal. Download speeds increased 20 fold, and the design is great! The upgrade was worth every penny!

The ARRIS SURFboard 32x8 DOCSIS 3.1 Cable Modem was very easy to install and works well with no issues.

This was easy to set up and works well with our Xfinity. First 500MB, now 1GB and it works great.

I have comcast Gigbit internet, I also have the package that includes a voice line I don't use, cause that is cheaper. They told me this modem was not compatible. Cause it does not have the phone line. They lie. It is. Works as advertised, the docsis 3.1 which is designed for speeds up to 1000mb download works fine. I tested my speed after installing and it hovered around 300mb to 400mb download.
