I pay for 500mbps and get around 550mbps with this modem with no fluctuations. I would suggest this brand, they last forever. My last one was a netgear and did not last very long

Great Modem!

My previous modem was about 3 years old and fading quickly so very pleased to be able to use the internet at an even faster speed than ever before and to do so reliably. Also, this was a very easy setup with Comcast. They walked me through the installation which maybe took about 10 minutes at the most!

Does its work for Comcast / xfinity connection

I was hardly getting 20mbps sometimes. Moving to this new DOCSIS 3.1 which as per xfinity is the latest supported technology, I could see consistent speed. I also backed up this purchase with a high configuration wifi router (from Bestbuy) and so both did the job.

Perfect for COX Gigablast.

I upgraded my previous SURFBoard (6140?) to this because I upgraded to COX gigablast. I like that it has two ethernet ports. It also supports using both ethernet ports into your router for faster connection. I like the ARRIS because its small and compact and can fit into my network cabinet. I get the full 1000Mbps from COX with this.
