Very nice modem. Provides strong internet signal. Works much better than the modem the ISP was renting me. Wish the lights could be dimmed since it will light up a room at night. Has 2 Ethernet ports on back which is misleading. Only one can be used unless you have 2 separate signals provided by your ISP. I solved the problem of needing 2 Ethernet connections by adding a splitter.

This seems like the best modem that money can buy right now. I was tired of paying the extra fees through Cox Internet for a sub optimal modem and I have no regrets. This is so much better than what you would rent from a cable provider. If you weren’t getting the speed you’re looking for or paying for I highly recommend this as your first step

This SB8200 modem does what I need it to. I've had the SB6190 for years with no issues and I upgraded to SB8200 for the DOCSIS 3.1 technology my ISP now has. I use the SB8200 w/ my Google Nest Mesh setup.

What can I say, this modem works, is stable and fast. I'm an I.T. consultant and I want, expect, my equipment to be rock solid. This modem does the trick. This is just a modem, a bridge, it is not a router. So buy a solid router, recommend a mesh router, to put behind this modem and you will have a stable Internet. Worth every penny.

I’ve had this modem for years. It’s hands down the best I’ve ever had. I recently bought a new one because Cox told me it went bad. Come to find out it works perfectly fine still. The Cox guy just didn’t know how to do his job.

I wanted a 3.1 modem to match my Asus ROG Rapture AX-11000 and it seems to work without issues. My router is getting the speeds I am paying for and my kids stopped complaining about lagging or everything in between. This modem is the highest my provider supports and I have no complaints.

Modem is great, a note for XFINITY customers -- I got this modem to support my 1gps speed from XFINITY. The max I've been able to clock is around 600mbs although XFINITY claims my speeds are where they should be. Either they are lying, or there is something capping my speeds either on the modem or my router. I read somewhere that some folks have had to update / replace the firmware on this modem in order to unlock higher speeds. I haven't gotten around to trying it yet.

Upgraded from an older arris surfboard model that was bottlenecking my internet speed. I have been paying a speed tier from internet provider and not reaching it with old modem so I decided to get this one. After installing this new modem, I'm satisfied with the speed. This model should last a long time.

This modem works well and has high speed plus it is reliable. You will require a seperate router, but this modem does its job well.

After having the bad luck of getting two defective modems in a row (another brand and seller) I picked this one up at Best Buy. I was up and running 15 minutes after getting home. Not much else to say, it’s a modem with the simple features I wanted.

My cable modem went out, so did the router. I matched this with a Linksys WiFi router and ran the Comcast speed test and they were above the max up and download speeds listed on the test page. So they are capable of moving a lot of data. Setup took me two or three times to get the modem working. I called Arris and they said it was working. But i had to call Comcast before it worked. So don’t start on some holiday. Once the cable co got the thing set up on my account everything screams along now.
