Purchased this Modem because of the speed capability of handling upwards of 2 gb performs as expected and then some previous model SB6190 kept dropping internet,constantly had to reboot. would recomend this unit SB8200

A good upgrade. My download speed went from 100Mbps to over 200Mbps. I was paying my internet provider for more than 100Mbps but I was not getting what I paid for cause my old modem did not support the 200Mbps I now get.

Functions as it needs to, no problems. This was a replacement for an older modem that could not support higher speeds that my ISP provided me. Speed tests yield above average results. Takes a little while to cycle through the upload/download links when first powered on but it gets there. Had to reset once, simple unplug and plug back in along with a router power cycle.

Works well, easy to install directions are clear and easy. Just install and register it with your internet provider and your all set.

The product is perfect for Comcast just like the on the box. I think its works wonderful.

I purchased this modem my Comcast and today I can declare that it has saved me a lot of money. I have no issues, easy to use and fast to stream data and this product is really stable. It works great. Amazing speed. you can't go wrong with this modem.

Modem is great, a note for XFINITY customers -- I got this modem to support my 1gps speed from XFINITY. The max I've been able to clock is around 600mbs although XFINITY claims my speeds are where they should be. Either they are lying, or there is something capping my speeds either on the modem or my router. I read somewhere that some folks have had to update / replace the firmware on this modem in order to unlock higher speeds. I haven't gotten around to trying it yet.

Very nice modem. Provides strong internet signal. Works much better than the modem the ISP was renting me. Wish the lights could be dimmed since it will light up a room at night. Has 2 Ethernet ports on back which is misleading. Only one can be used unless you have 2 separate signals provided by your ISP. I solved the problem of needing 2 Ethernet connections by adding a splitter.

Super easy to set up and really lets me maximize on my network plan!

Fantastic modem that is perfect for those whole need speeds above 500mbps download. Very little hiccups with the modem, I have to restart my router more often than the modem. Get this modem if you need faster speeds.

The modem was a breeze to connect. It provides terrific high speed connection.

Holy smokes night and day difference. I purchased this item to upgrade my modem since my old one was running super slow or would randomly cut out. Took awhile to get connected with my internet provider but once hooked up my internet speed skyrocketed. Greatly pleased with this item.

This modem worked with Comcast perfectly and was easy to setup.

You cannot beat the reliability of the arris surfboard.

Absolute pain in the neck to set up since ARIS insists you open an account on their website even though you bought from Best Buy -- then you have to call your ISP (Cox uses this modem but hassles you endlessly if you don't buy from them). But it's working now and still working.

We were having a hard time getting work done, communicating with friends and enjoying entertainment. Then, your https://www.bestbuy.com/site/arris-surfboard-32-x-8-docsis-3-1-cable-modem-white/5839003.p?skuId=5839003 came along. Everything's working like it SHOULD now.

Have had this installed for ~1 month & it works excellently. No hiccups, etc. Haven’t had to reboot it at all (even after a couple of short power outages in the apartment complex). I replaced a modem/router combo I was renting from cable company, and very happy that I did!
