    I purchased this modem to replace an older Arris Surf modem (10+ years old) that needed to be compatible with Spectrum. The setup was simple, plug in and connect coax and RJ45 cables. I did have to contact Spectrum to authorize the modem on my account, but the whole process took less than 10 minutes.

    Xfinity upgraded the Internet speed. Needed a new modem to take advantage of the new speed. Haven't had any problems.

    I utilize Midcontinent as my internet provider. This modem works well with Midco, however it did take several minuted before it finally was recognized by their system. Be patient when installing. It is simple to hook up but it make their system up to about 10 minutes to recognize the modem. Otherwise very fast downloads. Happy with the product.

    Once I got an Xfinity rep on the phone to let them know I got a new cable modem, it was up and running in no time! Ever since I installed it (1 months ago) my up time has from my ISP has been solid. It may have been my previous router dying, but this modem has been solid. I'm very happy with the value and performance.

    Works great - we got this when we upgraded from 120 Mbps Xfinity service to 900 Mbps speeds. This replaced an older ARRIS modem and brought our full speed (either wired or wireless if close to the router) to nearly 900 Mbps download as claimed by Xfinity.

    This replaced a DOCSIS 3.0 modem. I have not noticed a difference in speed 500 MBPS, but there a huge difference in stability! This new modem is much more stable, I have had the internet drop only once and that may have been a provider issue. If you can get it in sale, I would pick it up for sure!

    My previous Arris lasted almost 6 years of continuous Cable Internet use before it finally died. So when it did, i purchased another one. After a brief chat with Spectrum, they added its MAC to my account and i was online like usual. Speeds are slightly above my tier. Great modem
