The Arris Surfboard 32x8 DOCSIS 3.1 Cable Modem I purchased yesterday is just what the doctor ordered. I am replacing a Netgear modem. This baby is fast...really fast. I mean fast. I love it and now it is so good I will likely take it for granted...which is the best review possible.

I replaced my old Arris cable modem with an updated version of an Arris cable modem. This is very efficient and much faster than the old one ever thought of being. The Arris brand is very dependable...

I am very happy I got this unit. quality better than the rental one. Also I saved 20 $ per month for the rental one.

After debating for quite some time I decided to purchase this modem to improve the speed of my home network. Previous experience with arris modems was good and this one is not the exception. It offer the possibility to have two WiFi routers. Installation was a breeze and the size is perfect.

I saw the difference with regards to speed (I'm using Xfinity at 75Mbps plan), which increased to 150Mpbs! Thank goodness that it's been pretty consistent after using it. Plus, you'll get an extended 2-year warranty after you registered the product on their ARRIS consumer support website

This is an upgrade to my older surfboard, which was limited to 400 mb. With this one I am getting upwards to 900mb and helps with my wireless devices in the house. Only issue was getting reconnected with my internet provider.

Converted from cable provider’s rental modem. Was easy with Total Techs help. Was back in business with our 5 tvs and two laptops. Impressive performance.

Finally I have a fast and reliable modem, that gets the job done, once I set this up with Comcast I was on my way. The only downfall I have with this unit you can only use 1 of the Ethernet ports at a time, even though you have 2 ports in the back of the unit.

Since my cable carrier wanted to charge a monthly fee I bought this since it's compatible with their system. The speed is great as it should be. My download speed is capped by my carrier (Shentel) at 50 megs PS and I'm pulling 50.6. Upload speed is capped at 10 megs PS and I'm pushing 9.7 so yeah, I'm a happy camper.

Great modem. Stop wasting money using the crap modems your cable company RENTS to you. It will pay for itself in one tear. Note that you will need a good splitter to split signal to your cable box and wi-fi router, and it does not support voice.

Xfinity upgraded the Internet speed. Needed a new modem to take advantage of the new speed. Haven't had any problems.

Needed to upgrade from the model below this one after an internet upgrade. Even though it was rated for well over 1gbs it kept overheating. This one fixed the problem and is nowhere near as hot.

I purchased this to replace an older model. Much faster speeds and easy setup with Xfinity.

I bought this Arris SF8200 to replace my old modem. I am technology illiterate. I just connected all the cables and called my internet provider and boom... it's working!

Wonderful! Got it in a pitch after my last stopped working. Easy to put together. I recommend it's not in a sleeping area because the blue light could get bright.

Great for what it is. It isn't fiber so it will have to do but in terms of a 'cable modem' it does what it should and does it better than what any ISP will ever provide you. NEVER rent their crap if you can use your own, NEVER.
