Upgraded to this Modem for 1 Gig capability and changed cable package to the 1 gig unlimited data package for 1/2 the price of my 300 MB package. No more data overruns or buffering when streaming 4K. Paired this baby with the Linksys Velop Mesh router for superspeed surfing.

If you want to have a separate unit for cable modem instead of a cable modem/router, this is a very good choice. Very easy to set up and have had no drops. My previous Surfboard Cable Modem/Router would drop the signal periodically. This unit is much smaller and does not seem to run as hot as the larger unit did.

Great product, I was down a modem and work from home, had to run to the store and purchased this one. Worked right out of the box after calling my provider to set it up.

Setup on Cox and it was easy. I did have to call to deactivate my old modem and then activate the new modem. Process took about 15 min. Recommended modem to use as a Cox Cable modem.

I’ve only had this modem for 24 hours, but I wanted to let others know that this modem is compatible with spectrum in there isn’t a need to contact support to install this modem. It wasn’t too hard to install.

It is a very good modem I suppose, because I didn't have any internet problems since I got it. I get the same speed as promised by my internet provider.

Moved from a rented modem to this. So far this has worked great and will pay for itself in less than a year.

This was recommended by the salesman. I am very pleased with my purchase. It was easy to set up . I also purchased a mesh router to expand my wireless connection throughout my house.

Sure it’s still a cable modem, but it works with Comcast seamlessly. Plug it in and let it talk to your ISP. You should be up and running in no time. Provides great internet speeds and is rock solid on pumping out any cable speeds you’ll ever need.

This is hands down the best DOCSIS 3.1 modem on the market. Anyone renting one from your cable company should get one. Not only will it save you money off the dumb rental, it will be a much better device than the junk your cable company sends you.

I've been using this modem for about 20 months and have never had any problems with it malfunctioning. I use this with Cox gigabit internet and everything works great! There's still 6 months on the 2 year warranty, but from the looks of it, I won't be needing it.

Finally got rid of the cox provided modem, freeing up space in our office. I was able to finish setting up everything the way i want for our restaurant.

Such a great buy! Haven’t had any issues with it, and my internet has been workinf dastwe rhan expected. Definitely buy the insuranxe plan just in case!

Good modem, does what it needs to do. Why pay monthly to rent, when you can use your own equipment. Cheaper in the long run.

No issues with this modem since I bought it. I have it in a relatively open environment so it can breathe and not get overheated.

This is a very good modem. I had purchased the netgear dm1000 and was disappointed. Since purchasing this Arris I have been very satisfied with the speed and consistency.

It's in my house and it's working great. That's all I know about modems. But I was told this is one of the best on the market so I bought it. Internet is operating without issues so the modem is doing its job. Can't ask for much more than that.

Got the exact same Arris modem from our internet provider - different model name instead of surfboard. These modems give the speed and bandwidth needed for 50 plus ioT devices - just be sure the router you use is too with multiple streams that allow multiple devices to share simultaneously.
