Recently upgrade to the gigablast from Cox. Unfortunately, had to upgrade my modem to the 3.1. I was really happy with my previous 3.0 Arris that I purchased this model. Easy to install, set up, and use. So far no troubles and I am happy with the product and the 2 etherports come in handy for the PS4 and Apple TV!

Works great! Used to update my COX cable modem. Fast hookup over internet in minimum time.

Easy set up and integration with both our ISP and smart home set up. Recommended to us as the best for a integrated house and seems to be exactly that. More expensive than many modems on the market, but seems like you get what you pay for in this case.

If you want to have a separate unit for cable modem instead of a cable modem/router, this is a very good choice. Very easy to set up and have had no drops. My previous Surfboard Cable Modem/Router would drop the signal periodically. This unit is much smaller and does not seem to run as hot as the larger unit did.

I bought this to replace the modem I have been renting from my internet provider and couldn't be happier. Great product and highly recommended if you need consistent connectivity and want to save money in the long run. Great return on investment by not having to pay a monthly rental fee to cash hungry internet providers!

replaced older slower router with this and it works amazing. setup with help from Xfinity wasn't too terrible and that was mostly on their end. Speeds trippled. Very happy

Great modem for someone that just wants to connect it and forget it - like older folks that don't necessary know how to troubleshoot problems. Very stable and reliable product

Great modem, does it job and hasn't overheated on me. I wish it had some settings you could change, and a better login system, but those are just preferences. Otherwise a great product and worth the cost.

Got the exact same Arris modem from our internet provider - different model name instead of surfboard. These modems give the speed and bandwidth needed for 50 plus ioT devices - just be sure the router you use is too with multiple streams that allow multiple devices to share simultaneously.

I have heard a lot of bad reviews on the SB8200 modem and some good. I trust the Arris Surfboard brand and haven't had any issues on my prior Arris SB6141 modem and have had no issues to date on my SB8200 to date works great. I had to upgrade when my cable speeds increased. My only suggestion would be to be able to turn off the status lighting on the modem.

Old router died, recommended by employee. Have noticed that I have gained speed since installing. Would recommend

I got rid of my cable provider and invested in a new modem and my internet speeds went up at least 200%

I've been using it for over 2 years now. Works great. Using with 400Mbps Spectrum internet. I've saved more buying this modem than paying the equipment fees.

When I've had cable internet installed, I've always used the Arris SurfBoards for my modem. They've always been super reliable.
