This is my 3rd Arris modem. My 1st one went bad and they replaced it for me no problem. My second was burned up by lightning strike and now this one is wonderful. Plenty of band width & speed and I love having 2 ports on this one. It's like having 2 modems.....really nice!

I needed a modem for my new place so I could get WiFi aha this did the trick. Thank you Best Buy!

If you just want a cable modem without a lot of fluff, but one that can handle the Cox Gigablast task at hand, this is surely the cable modem for you.

When we had 3 or more devices using our Netgear 5Ghz unit their individual speed was dramatically reduced and would lose connection. With this Arris unit we are not having problems with slowing down or dropping off when we have 3-4 devices on our WIFI (TV Streaming, laptop, PC, and Smartphone).

This cable modem works well. Set up was fairly easy, took a couple of extra steps, but got it working

I think it's super dumb to have to have a router and a modem. Didnt realize you needed both. I'm sure it works fine but I didnt want the hassle of getting ANOTHER 150 dollar piece of equipment that I would use for 3 years and need another.

This modem let me keep my high speed internet while giving me complete autonomy over my wireless network. This is connected to a TP-Link Archer AX6000

Didn't realize that a modem can limit your internet speed. Buying this device to future proof was a investment I am glad I did. With 30+ devices continually connected (smart devices, computers, phones, etc) this modem doesn't skip a beat.

Arris is one of the few companies that manufacture modems that are ethernet only. There are many people, like myself, who are highly sensitive to wifi. If a modem has ethernet and wifi, the internet provider can incidentally turn on your wifi as default when they send a signal to the modem which providers do to update etc. so a sensitive can have it turned on when they are not aware. I am grateful that Best Buy offers this modem option.

Bang for the buck. Gets the job done and is priced great.

Quit paying rent on a Comcast modem. This device is a docsis 3.1 device it will handle speeds up to 1Gb. My service is only 350/30 but this doesn't even break a sweat. After installation call Comcast support and they will connect to it. After that you can forget about it . Yes it's that simple.

Works as it should. I have not had any issues with this and i have owned for over a year.

I've always preferred buying my own cable modem versus renting from my internet providers as I know what I am getting and don't have to pay a monthly rental fee. This cable modem has been reliable for 2 years now and fast. Highly recommended.

i purchased this router to replace the one I was leasing from Comcast. My old router kept losing connections and i had to pay the monthly lease fee to Xfinity. With this router my connection has been solid and no more lease fees! I have a gig plan with Xfinity and this router has been over 800MBs every time I have checked it.

So based on other reviews and what little time I had with this, I'd say it's a great deal. My goal was to break away from the rented modem/router, so I bought this and a separate Linksys router. However, Cox won't to let me use this because I have a "wireless" cable box. To use this modem, they were asking me to change my TV plan and get a hard wired cable box. Which seemed like way more of a headache than what is necessary. This modem is listed on their website as compatible, without mentioning the cable box caveat. So technically, I didn't really get to use this and had to return it, but I don't think Cox's dumbness constitutes for a bad review of this modem.

This modern by far had impressed me with the speeds that it can output, but of course your service provider has to have the capability of outputting 1gb of data which RCN in my favor is doing it for me.

Very fast and reliable modem. In 10 months time you will have paid off the purchase of this modem since you won't have to rent from your ISP.

So far this modem is working well. No issues. Simple to set up.

Works as intended. No issues and have had it for a month or so. If you aren’t sure the right modem for you, this is likely going to handle whatever you throw at it. Reminder though, you’ll need a wireless router separately if buying this model. Likely better that way anyways!

I bought this to replace my old surfboard sb6580…this one isn’t as good bc it doesn’t have as many ports in the back. I was a little disappointed by that. Speeds are pretty good. Otherwise I would give it an A+.
