Works perfectly with my Xfinity hookup. What an improvement over the slow modem-router that Xfinity rents us!

We had to upgrade because the old one was out of date. This one was easy to install and works like a charm. I honestly can't see that it is as much faster as advertised, but that may also be due to the bandwidth coming into the house from my provider.

was renting the local cable co. modem for 10/mo., and not getting the advertised speeds. Once I installed this modem, i noticed an immediate increase in performance...not the max advertised speed but significantly better than the rental modem. Arris is by far the best modem to use!

This is an upgrade for me from my sb6183 modem. Glad it's working great. I have had no issues with it but it does run warmer than my previous modem. I have a laptop cooler underneath it to help disipate the heat. I definitely think it was worth the upgrade!

Worked great out of the box I have Comcast. Over 2.5 times speed jump.

This modem replaced my old SB6141 which died after 6 or 7 years of continues use with little to no issues. I hope this one would last as the old one. I've had it for a few weeks now and I still have not had any issues what so ever.

There is no configuration for the product. It is plug and play. I had everything ready for the installer when he came to install the drop to my home. If the drop from Comcast had been there, a self install with the SURFboard would have gone with no problem!

Works great. I did have to register it with Comcast but that only took a minute.

At the cost of what Xfinity was charging to rent their modem, you can buy this. It’ll pay for itself after some time and you get fast reliable speed. I upgraded from another Surfboard that was slower. Glad I picked this one and hopefully future proof myself for a couple of years.

Excellent high speed router and very easy to install. Works well with Mediacom 1G internet service and is well worth the money to avoid the perpetual $12 rental fee for the Mediacom unit.

This is one of the best reviewed modems out there for high speed internet. Haven't had any issues with it. Only downside is that you cannot turn off the blue lights like you could in previous versions. So if you have this in a bedroom, it'll be bright.

Literally the best decision I’ve made! Easy to setup with Comcast, they just add the MAC address to your account and that’s it!! Over a two year period they charge $350! The modem cost $150. No brainer, never rent a modem from your ISP again

This product for internet is amazing. I got it originally for an older house but bought a new one because I let my roommate keep the other for the old house. Anyways amazing for getting reliable internet in the house.

Was great the year i used it. only issue with these is the resell value stinks. you pay $150 new but cant resell it $20.. But as far as the product goes it worked great

I bought this version of the modem recently as my previous setup wasn't getting me the speeds I signed up for. This cable modem gets the job done, though it took forever to activate it with xfinity, but that could be the isp issue and not the devise.

Since I installed I did not have any issue. I had the ARRIS db6241 before and with that modem I observed some cutoffs or loss of connections occasionally. So, this modem is awesome and scalable for planes above 300 mbps coming in the future

Great product and works as advertised! You'll save at least $120 a year by providing your own modem and you'll receive better download speeds in the process due to the extra downstream channels that are provided.
