If you played last years title Assassins Creed: Origin and enjoy it you're basically getting more of the same. Most of the gameplay elements and features were copy and pasted onto this latest title. Get it if you're a fan, do not if you didn't like the new gameplay formula.

It’s good because it has rpg elements but it’s similar gameplay mechanics from last year game

This is a long game. Seems to take a bit longer to progress in the story that past games, but you definitely do not get bored as there are tons of side quests to keep you busy. I like that I cannot finish the game in one day and that makes it worth the money to me.

I bought as a gift for my adult son, tried it myself, good graphics, enjoyed the action

There is a lot to do in this game. Plenty of other stuff if there is something you find you don't like. It is a very gamey game. It doesn't take itself seriously like other Assassin's Creed games. It is possible to sink a lot of hours into this game. So beware.
