Forget about unity and move on. Don't pass up this year's because of last years outing this is a great addition to the franchise and best since black flag thus far.

I've played most of the series. Unity was a step backwards from black flag. I like having 2 different characters. They play differently which I like. London looks good.

Pretty good game. Not quite what the series used to be, but definitely better than some of the previous installments.

i consider black flag my favorite but syndicate is down right so much fun. being able to switch between the main characters adds some dynamics. worth every penny.

This one rivals Black Flag and much better in many areas. Love the story, beautiful landscapes. The ability to switch between playable characters is a nice touch.

Easily one of the best video games I have ever played and also the best of the Assassin's Creed franchise. This game is well worth the time it takes to play it.

AC: Unity was a mess. The graphics were great, but it ran horribly. Syndicate however has fixed those issues and makes for a true next gen Assassin's Creed game.

I have only played the game for a few days and I'm only at 34 % progress in the story, so my review is at 4 stars. I have played AC1, AC2, AC3 and AC Brotherhood (which I still play repeatedly). I like the way Ubisoft has incorporated the various things from the older AC games, like how you earn money from buildings, you can upgrade all your items, the fluid combat and movement controls (it's easier to dodge and break defense). I personally like the absence of full sychronization requirements but instead was replaced by"bonus" requirements, which gives you extra rewards and extra xp if you do perform them. I also like where you can recruit gang members to do your bidding which was similar to the assassins in Brotherhood AC but can't send them to do missions where they can earn items and xp. I specially like the added item to the assasins' arsenal, the zipline, think Batman but AC style. It makes climbing up buildings and moving between buildings. There are a lot of side missions to do, a lot of items to pick up (if you're into hunting items). What I don't like (very minor) is the combat controls, I personally like mashing buttons on the controller, Ubisoft made it that when you push one button to attack, your character hits the victim 4 or 6 times, so I feel like I don't have much control on how many times I attack. Overall a good game if your an avid AC fan or new to the game.

Probably the best Assassin's Creed since brotherhood. The grappling hook changes up the way city traversal works in a great way. Not without a few technical hiccups.

Good addition to the Assassin's Creed franchise overall- Love the fact that they finally got a BAMF female assassin- whom I personally think is better than the male counterpart in the game. Mechanics of the game are a little wonky- but the fighting mechanics are choice. Pretty good story and beautiful scenes- as to be expected with any Assassin's Creed game. Definitely worth a play through- or at least a half playthrough if only to let out some agression on the patriarch using Evie's cane

Even if you are a passive fan of the series (like me) you will really enjoy this game. I rate this on the same level as the American Revolution Assassins Creed.

So far, this is another entertaining Assassin's Creed game. The story seems interesting so far, the gameplay is good, and the graphics and sound are excellent.

They brought back mobile transportation. There are more things to do in this game. The characters are fun and personable. Combat is slightly better, but not great.

Enjoying this game so far been a big fan since the original AC back in 2008 and still enjoying! Recommending this game if you're are looking for a cool story line

If you enjoy this series then you already know that its for you. If not is pretty entertaining, but can get repetitive at times. Still a good bang for your buck.

The story is pretty good. It was better than Black Flag, Rogue and Unity. I fell in love with 19th century London. The sneaking is pretty lackluster compared to previous games but isn't anything to complain about. The movement and climbing had been getting better and has been polished up. Unity had problems but syndicate just seemed like I didn't have as many problems with randomly jumping or climbing to a spot I had no intention of going to (you will still have problems). With that said it still has its problems, just not nearly as much. The best part of this great game is Jacob and Evie Frye. These twins make the story and game one of the best experiences since AC2 and Ezio. They couldn't be more opposite. If you want to just beat your way through, then Jacob is your man. If stealth and planning your attack is your Forte, then Evie is the girl to do it. The story breaks off and uses them both pretty equally. I love beating my way through the gang battles, but I seemed to gravitate towards Evie. Her skill tree is a pure stealth and makes the game so much fun! And Evie just made it a little easier to be stealthy because this game doesn't have much stealth to begin with. Syndicate has its flaws like most assassins creed games do. However, syndicate just seemed like a breath of fresh air like Black Flag.

talk about a game series coming back strong. after how god awful unity was this is a breath of fresh air. it has all the shades of AC3 which was my favorite

I have not enjoyed an Assassin's Creed this much since the first came out. Great game with a lot to do. It can get a bit repetitive, but it's a lot of fun.

not as good as uncharted, but still a good game. i know my son can't stop playing this franchise and every time they come out with a new game he loves it

London is a fantastic setting for the Assassin's Creed series, and the story focuses on a brother and sister who you can play as both and face unique game play challenges, which offer a lot of variety. This is probably the most diverse and accessible Assassin's Creed game, but it doesn't quite measure up to Black Flag where you can freely sail the high waters in pirate ships.
