Assassin's Creed Syndicate Standard Edition - PlayStation 4

Had a lot of fun playing this game and looking forward to the Jack the Ripper missions.

This game is a lot better than the last one... I highly recommend it.

Assassin's Creed Syndicate is a fantastic return to the roots of the series that combines classic Assassin's Creed lore and structure with a fresh new leveling and combat system. Set in the beautiful streets of London, the sights and sounds of the open world are hard to beat. The game introduces a new two-character story which plays nicely throughout, allowing players to switch freely between either character in most parts of the game. The missions are fresh while maintaining the classic structure we love from the best games of the series. The different side activities in the game keep you busy and provide plenty of loot to upgrade your characters equipment and skill. Carriage controls are tight and responsive providing an extra fun element to the game. Added also was the grappling line which is fluid and while not quite as fun as Batman's, it definitely speeds up climbing to high places. If you sat this out because of Unity, fear not, this game is leaps and bounds better and way well go down as the 3rd best in the franchise.

Syndicate is an improvement in the Assassin's Creed series from Rogue and Unity. By no means is this the best Assassin's Creed game, but it looks great and has the same handling and feel of others in the series. That can kind of be a problem in itself though as gameplay feels stagnant and repetitious at times. When compared to Assassin's Creed 2 which was outstanding for its time and introduced new concepts to the series, my favorite tends to lean more towards Black Flag. In Black Flag, you juggled between sailing the open seas and typical Assassin's Creed gameplay. The series felt fresh. Syndicate is a return to the old style, but is not as stale as Rogue and Unity were soon after they came out. If you like the series like I do, pick it up.

I was huge fan of Assassin's Creed Black Flag, buy didn't buy Unity because of glitches, etc. I originally wasn't going to buy Syndicate but was talked into it and so happy I was. Game is great. Fun, good graphics and cool story

This new AC series is a huge improvement from Unity. So far the game has been great and a lot of fun to play. There are still few glitches here and there but overall is great. Would definitely recommend this game to any AC fan.

From the mechanics to the story if these twins AC Syndicate is a fun enjoyable play, if your a fan of the series this game satisfies, and new comers will enjoy this as a first Assassins outing!! Game On!!

After last year's subpar entry into the series, Syndicate breathes some fresh air into the Assassin's Creed series. It introduces fun, new mechanics such as the grappling hook, train hideouts, and gang wars. Also new is the character progression system, where you can upgrade and pick skills to make the twins deadlier. Story is good so far, nothing too impactful but nothing to complain about. Ubisoft also got rid of locked chests that were in AC: Unity and fixed the bugs that plagued the previous entry. They also got rid of multiplayer completely in this entry. All in all, AC: Syndicate is a solid, but not too spectacular game that will hook you with its gameplay and setting. It's well worth the money that you pay for.
