||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After HOURS of review and speaking with several people in the gaming realm, I gave in and bought these headphones for Christmas for my son. Since opening them he has not been able to turn the volume up or down via headphones. We went through all trouble shooting and even went online to check forums for fixes. After an hour online reading forums related to our issue we've found that this is not uncommon and that for over five years the company has been aware of this issue. A simple fix would be a soft rest....but they have failed to do this for FIVE years, while still charging consumers $300 for junk.

Not sure if its worth the high price

I can hear sounds from every direction, especially if you don't have surround sound 7.1 at home. Not sure if these are better than the cheaper headsets. But the demos at the store has deeper bass than the cheap ones.

They're bass heavy and the mids are lacking. The sound is made up by overprocessing. Do yourself a favor and get skull candy player1s. Skull bought out astrology and now astrology is making their headsets. Same thing for a fraction of the cost.

You want kick a** sound? It's got it. Very comfortable. I HAVE tried different brand and this one lives up to the hype. Worth every penny
