The best that you can buy. Period.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This product features a 7.1 surround system that is absolutely top notch. Extremely comfortable system that can be worn for hours of gameplay. Battery life charge is superb with easily 10+ hours of battery life. Fits perfect and comfortably with prescription glasses. After an easy firmware update, the system is easy to install and set up. This is absolutely the best system on the market.

your environment matters!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am in a room with 50-80 people in a not so spacious atmosphere. Usually 60 at any givin time. At 1st they worked really amazingly awsomly ridiculously wicked sweet! Unfirtuanltly lots of others started to show up with wirless headsets, some a50's too. At 1st changing the channel worked, but now because of all the interference from other wirless headsets, they don't perform near as well, but I love them, so I'll prob just use them @home, & get a40's, but I don't want to be wired down....

Amazing Sound Quality, Clunky Setup
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The sound quality alone is worth the price, but the product does come with some glitches. The first pair I bought was a lemon with some battery and pairing issues. The second pair is working as advertised with great battery life. There is a slight product flaw with this headset simply due to wireless technology. In the right ear on both headsets I purchased, when playing on a PC, I experience a slight distortion that is distracting. I found that this is not the case when playing on a gaming console. This could be due to the fact that I also have a wireless keyboard and mouse running on the PC, and the headset is picking up some interference. It's the same kind of noise that a podium microphone will pick up when you have a cell phone with you at the podium. There's simply nothing you can do about this, so if this bugs you, I would not recommend the product. I will also add a warning that this headset only connects via fiber optics. If you don't have a tv or stereo where you can route sound through optical, don't buy this headset. If you have the system to do this, then it isn't really a problem. It just takes a bit to figure out which cable goes where and get everything working correctly. Lastly, there is nowhere to access the rechargeable battery, so when it dies, you have to send it in to manufacturer to get replaced. I prefer things to be a bit more user friendly. As I said before, the sound quality is amazing. It is by far the best on the market in this area which is why it is so expensive. But it has some technical quirks that would make me rethink buying a second set.

Durable Gaming Headset
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So, this is the first time a computer peripheral I've purchased actually lasted longer than the warranty, as I've gone through quite a few headsets in particular that had that nagging issue of an earmuff or headband snapping off from cheap plastic construction. With this thing, I've been going for over two years without any issue, whereas the Turtle Beach and Logitec headsets I've had fallen apart after roughly eight to sixteen months. An older version by the time of the review being put out for certain, my only complaints were the light ringing in the right earmuff (when a sound channel is playing but no sound is coming through it creates that odd ringing) which was a known problem with the early A50s, as well as the plastic stand it came with being... less that durable. The hook that was designed to hold up the weight of the headset clearly couldn't after about a year, but it seems that that particular plastic stand has been discontinued from the current A50s. Wireless works well, can walk some distance before it loses signal, but of course you probably won't want to wear it going to the bathroom or to the kitchen, though you probably could without losing signal in a single-story or apartment. The charging cables are alright but on the very short side, as it seems to have been designed exclusively for wireless use, although it functions perfectly plugged in assuming you buy longer cables or keep your head within 3~4 feet from your computer/console. Minor quirks aside, the headset itself has held together well enough that if it dies before I do, I'd probably buy another.

Awesome Headset
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When it comes to quality, sound, and comfort nothing is better than the A50. The sound by far is so much better than my PS Gold or TurtleBeach Stealth 500P. The sound is so crisp, you can hear EVERYTHING . I do love the mute option where you know it is muted if you move the mic up to mute or down to talk. Loved that option because before I would forgot I had it muted until I would hear "I can't hear you" LOL. Also, the ability to custom tune the sound from the mix-amp is awesome. The one downside I say it doesn't allow me to plug in my cell phone so I can listen to my Itunes while gaming and chatting. My TurtleBeach has that option but this does not. All around the battery life is really good around 4-5hours except the fact you get a REALLY REALLY small cord length in charging the headset. I will have to purchase a 10" ft cord to be able to charge my headset while gaming at the same time when I am in the master bedroom. Overall if you can afford the headset BUY IT. Save that $100 you will spend on the other headset and get the best. Please be aware before you use the headset you will have to update the firmware for the headset and the MixAmp.

The best wireless gaming headset for PS4/PC
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Use these for both gaming on my PS4 and PC and I have been blown away. For strictly gaming, this is one of the best, if not the best, headset money can buy. I had logitech G930's and these blow them out of the water. What I really love is they operate on a higher frequency (5.8ghz) vs the standard 2.4ghz that most wireless headsets, including my G930's, operated on. The 2.4ghz is congested and noisy band since most routers, babe monitors, wireless headsets, Bluetooth headsets, cordless phones, etc operate on that frequency. That led to several headset sync issues on my g930's which was utterly annoying. Of course your location has a lot to do with it, but if you have neighbors chances are their router, among other devices, are transmitting on the 2.4 frequency. With these astros I have not had one single drop off and the audio quality is simply unparalleled!
