If you're a gamer, there's no doubt you've heard of Astro's and these do not disappoint. They were extremely easy to get setup and the sound quality is amazing. Prior to these, I had Tritton AX Pro's...the Astro's are superior. After hours of gaming, there's zero discomfort.. Great purchase all around.

Got these as a replacement for my Sony Pulse Elite Headphones that broke from moving out of my home. 8 months in and these are still strong. The sound is clear, and the bass is definitely there. The ear pieces are held together by metal, unlike the Sony Pulse Elites', which is held by plastic.

I will say that I am far from professional. I just game A LOT. I've tried a couple of different Turtle Beach headsets, one economy wired and the wireless 400 series. Both of them broke in different ways. The wired headset had issues with the mic not working. Eventually upgraded to the wireless 400 series and after less than a year of use the plastic sliders developed surfaces cracks and snapped off. Now I say all that to reiterate that the price point on these is not in everyone's budget. HOWEVER, you get what you pay for and I'm so happy with these. They are heavy but don't feel overly heavy. The materials used and build quality are on point. The sound from these is amazing. The 7.1 button is definitely a wild thing to get used to. I've never heard a game be so clear and directional. The sound quality from the mic is absolutely amazing. The first night I played with them I got asked if I got a new headset. I sound much more clear to them. I really like the fact that the mic mute is as simple as rotating the mic up. The volume controls and the game/chat balance controls are easy to use as well. All in all I would say DO NOT waste your money on inferior headsets like the Turtle Beaches. Those are trash compared to these.

Got this for just over $200 with a price match. Well worth the $200. Battery lasts a long time, build quality is outstanding and sound quality is even better. Serious gamers only, if you complain about the price then buy a cheap turtle beach plastic headset and get what you pay for

Wonderful headphones. I have tried so many different kinds of headphones ... Over ear, in ear, etc. Playstation Gold Headphones don't hold a candle to these headphones. They excel in comfort and sound. I would recommend these to everyone who is a bit more of a casual gamer.

This headset works like a charm and is practically indestructible. Although, I would not recommend throwing around a $300 headset. The white noise issue in the right ear is a problem, but it is barely noticeable. I use the headset for all my games, music, and movies on my ps4. I like it a lot more than the turtle beach headsets or playstation gold wireless.

My Sony Gold headset broke (a common occurrence I've heard) and so it was time to find something better. After talking with some elite game players I know I bought these Astros. The only issue I had was I had to download the firmware update and apply it before it would work. (TL/DR - the manual said to do that right off the bat.) Once I did that, it has worked almost flawlessly. The only thing that might happen is losing a connection via the wireless part to the Mic. Just restart the base connected to the console or computer (even works with Macs!) and you're in business. First thing that happened is that my friends online asked if I was who I really was. They said my voice had been muffled in comparison to now, where it now comes through crystal clear and plenty loud. I am very happy with this purchase. The only thing I wish it had was a replaceable battery so I could keep it going no matter how long the gaming session goes. (A more expensive model does that.) It's not fragile like the Sony Gold, and it sounds way, way better.

Price is so worth it. I have tried several over the years and these by far are the best. The sound quality excels over others. Yes there are comparable headsets but for quality, comfort and ease of use these are great.

I BOUGHT THISNHEADSET FOR PS4 AND I COULD NOT ASK FOR MORE I GAVE IT A FIVE SAS BC OF FUNCTION, DESIGN AND QUALITY. IT FUNCTIONS PERFECT WITH ERGONOMIC DESIGN WHILE HAVING TOP NOTCH SOUND QUALITY THAT DELIVERS. ALL OF ITS GREATNESS WHILE BEING WIRELESS, YES PLEASE, I WELL TAKE IT.

Sound quality and comfort are excellent. The headset feels durable and looks great. Setup can be a bit of a hassle due to firmware updates and whatnot and some trial and error to get voice chat working but well worth it once it is all set up.

Great headset so far. Very clear and has more bass than any wireless headsets I've tried before. I've owned just about every high end gaming headset and this one is solid.

I have a cheaper set of head phones but thought I would have improved sound quality out of these. I found no big difference in the sound quality over the cheaper set I had. They were very comfortable and had good sound quality, but not much more than some others out there that cost less money.

The sound quality alone is worth the price, but the product does come with some glitches. The first pair I bought was a lemon with some battery and pairing issues. The second pair is working as advertised with great battery life. There is a slight product flaw with this headset simply due to wireless technology. In the right ear on both headsets I purchased, when playing on a PC, I experience a slight distortion that is distracting. I found that this is not the case when playing on a gaming console. This could be due to the fact that I also have a wireless keyboard and mouse running on the PC, and the headset is picking up some interference. It's the same kind of noise that a podium microphone will pick up when you have a cell phone with you at the podium. There's simply nothing you can do about this, so if this bugs you, I would not recommend the product. I will also add a warning that this headset only connects via fiber optics. If you don't have a tv or stereo where you can route sound through optical, don't buy this headset. If you have the system to do this, then it isn't really a problem. It just takes a bit to figure out which cable goes where and get everything working correctly. Lastly, there is nowhere to access the rechargeable battery, so when it dies, you have to send it in to manufacturer to get replaced. I prefer things to be a bit more user friendly. As I said before, the sound quality is amazing. It is by far the best on the market in this area which is why it is so expensive. But it has some technical quirks that would make me rethink buying a second set.

I was hesitant about paying a high price for a pair of gaming headphones, but I am very pleased with the quality of this product. Hubby is completely happy with wireless and the product overall

Great headphones, cost is a little steep but you truly get what you pay for. The sound quality is amazing. You won't believe all the minute things you were missing before you dawned these headphones. Best gaming headphones in the business hands down.

This headset is awesome. It is clear, comfortable and good looking. We have had several other headset's in the past but this one is by far the best we have ever had. Highly recommend it for the gamer in your family. Kelley

My girlfriend got me this headset for my birthday and I love it. It fits great on my head, very comfortable. No more wires is amazing. I felt tethered with my other headset. Get one of these headsets, NOW!!!!!

This headset is simply amazing!! Everything ive been looking for in a headset i see alot of mixed reviews but in all honesty nothing is perfect but theses are pretty dang close if not perfect to me.. if you can spare the money you wouldnt be disappointed with the astro a50s i cant play video games without them anymore doesnt feel right and thats cause i have a pretty good surround sound that being a 1,000 watt sony setup.. ive compared theses to turtle beach 400 stealth,500 stealth and the elite 800s and none of them and i mean none of them compare to what the astros offer im completely satisfied with my purchse also be sure to purchase warranty cause you never know when something might go wrong but thats with most things

I bought these for mostly the wireless part but I can say that I have had these for awhile and it still holds a good charge. The sound is awesome and mic sounds really good
