After returning a competing headset for bad audio and mic quality I decided to give Astro a try. I'm glad I did because this is the best headset for Call of Duty. It's completely wireless on the PS4 and has great quality audio and mic. Be sure to update the firmware on both the transmitter and headset. There are only 3 presets so I keep mine on number 3. The bass is strong and the audio doesn't sound muffled. I wish these had bluetooth, however, so I can use them with my phone. At first, the mic picked up a lot in the background including ceiling fan wind so I took a spongy mic cover off my old headset and slid it on this one and it works even better. People online told me my mic sounds a lot better than the headset I returned.

The sound quality is clear and it is very comfortable to wear for many hours of gaming.

The mini USB connector that gives power to the base unit fell off the circuit board. I've also had continuous issues with being unable to turn the power off, thereby causing the battery to run out when not in use, even though I kept the firmware and software up to date. I really wanted to like these because they are comfortable and the sound was good.

Even though this is my first purchase, I've tried many different headsets and brands from gamer friends and was told Astros are the best. I love them, great sound, and really sound off your surroundings. The only thing is I feel they die to quick on me. They last about 4 hours before they indicated they're about to die. Overall though awesome. Just remember to keep on charger when not in use.

My husband and son wanted a different headset but I couldn't find them at first and then one of your employees got another employee to help find what I was looking for but then he recommended these and I was pretty nervous about weather my husband would like these or not since I had never heard of them, but I went ahead and bought these and good thing I did because my husband loves them.

I believe is an incredible headset. Comfortable, lightweight, and stylish. The most important thing is the high quality soround sound. You can adjust when gaming to your voice or the game sound its amazing. The plus is wireless. Great job Astro!

I was a little skeptical at first, especially since I never really bought a headset worth $300 and up, but with enough research and seeing the reviews made me ultimately buy the headsets. They're phenomenal, and without getting too much into detail they are well worth the price. I would entertain the idea of buying these IF you have the finance.

I took back the Turtle Beach Elite 800 for the Astro A50's. Both are good head sets. Both bring something to the table. The 800's were really fancy. Bluetooth this and that. Which was nice but, it took away from being immersed into the game you're playing. The 800's have all the bells and whistles. I think it took away from from the sound though. To many features, not enough simplicity. Plus if you have a large size head. They will be really tight. A really good feature they do have over the A50's is the cradle to set them in. It holds them perfect and keeps them charged. The "tower" type stand for the A50's is mediocre, at best. I just don't like to hang them from the memory foam. So I just lay them flat. Other than that. The A50's are, in my opinion, better than the 800's. The sound and mic are far better. TB needs to improve on their quality. They're focusing to much on quantity. I use these A50's for my PS4. I've had them for about 2 weeks. I had the 800's for about the same amount of time. Put them both thru games, movies, voice chat, etc. You will not be disappointed with the A50's. And, remember, before you hook them up to which ever gaming device you have. Make sure the firm ware is up to date. It will give you the best experience.

This is a all around great headset and is very multi versatile. I have it connected to both my PS4 and Xbox 1 and PC. Price is a little high but since it is a multi platform wireless headset it balances out and removes the needing of individual headsets.

I have connected TV audio output to the audio mixer using optical cable to watch films and play games both pc and xbox on tv. Overall sound quality is good, I can even hear very smallest detail in the emvironment while playing MGS5. My only concern is it only gives 8 hrs of play time for single charge.

This was my 13yr old grandsons Christmas present. He wanted this model and was thrilled with it. When he started playing a game with a friend on line he could not believe how much nicer this headset was over the old one he had. He was thrilled with the way it worked.

The headset is comfortable and the sound is good. I like it.
