Many of the other reviews state that this laptop is slow. Well yes, in a way. For basic web browsing and running programs like Microsoft office this laptop is great. Your not going to be playing fortnight or any other game for that matter. Another common complaint I see is the windows S mode it is pre-installed with. No joke it took me 1 minute online to figure out and upgrade to windows 10 home for FREE. This is a great laptop to those who want a lightweight laptop for web browsing without needing to be attached to a wall.

It's going to be a decent value if you know what to expect. This is a device that has a very limited purpose. If you remember the netbooks that were around about 10 years ago, these are the 2019 versions of them. It's best purposes will be, surfing the web, reading emails, and checking on some news. I wouldn't plan on doing too much more than this, although you might be able to get away with slightly more. For a sub $200 machine, it's a good value. Not the best display, the fastest processor, the most ram or storage, but it should be a decent laptop to take along for the times where you'd rather not risk having a $1000 machine damaged. If you break this, it was $100 or so.

So I just received this yesterday, I bought an open box one, great price...came with only charging cord and laptop, no instructions. This came in perfect shape, no scratches and I didn't need the instructions, started right up. I am using this for a brother dream machine 2, sewing machine, simply to download, store and transfer embroidery designs. Very fast for internet downloading and browsing. I hooked up an old dell wireless mouse and everything was even easier.....sorry I didn't buy this sooner!

This laptop works great for basic tasks like Microsoft office, general browsing, and other simple tasks. Don't expect to be able to multitask as its ram compacity is quite low. Its a great laptop for the price and will work great for simple tasks.

Works fine as long as you don't push it too far (not for gaming, video editing, or significant multi-tasking). Price was great at Best Buy for a lightweight, windows laptop, with up to date connectivity, a Celeron N4000 processor, and 10 hour battery life. Suggest you upgrade for free from Windows 10S to Windows Home and get a high speed micro SD card to store apps and data.

it's not perfect when it comes to space, but that's what USB hard drives are for, but it's still decent, and it gets the job done, amazing features, packed well, clean and neat. Even though the space isn't as much as it seems on this pc, I'm going to get a USB hard drive soon and that should solve my problem. Thanks for this wonderful addition to my workspace. I appreciate it. Yours truly.

I was looking for a budget friendly laptop to meet my basic needs and this has fit the bill perfectly. I can do almost everything on my phone that I used to need a computer for, but I needed something capable of usb printing, word processing, browsing, and for typing out long emails -- this has been great for all of that. The ports and new Intel processor are all huge plusses, and the Windows operating system is super user friendly. As others have noted, this is a basic laptop, it's not meant for heavy gaming or for storing lots of files. But, if you're looking for something to browse the internet and for basic processing tasks, you can't beat the price! I'm super happy with this purchase.

I received this computer as a Christmas gift. I’m still trying to get use to it but I like that’s it’s so light. It’s pretty quick and runs well. I’m mostly going to use it for my school work. So as of right now I’m happy with the laptop.

Ended up purchasing this for my niece great starter laptop not much thrills but good speeds for load out , video quality and basic emailing Function. Relatively easy to set up With a lot more streamline use of the cortana system for windows 10.

This is my favorite laptop. Light, faster than you'd think, great battery life, keys perfect for my man-hands. Wi-Fi excellent and faster than my X205TA, the older but almost identical sibling to this. New processor benchmarks in this one make a difference. Perfect, perfect....only goody i'd like to see would be lighted keys but at the price I paid, it's a wow.

This laptop is very capable for the price. What has this laptop stand out over other budget laptops is the keyboard, very tactile and types well and the trackpad very nice and responsive. Just realize the limitations of this laptop it is not top end. This laptop comes with windows 10 home with S mode enabled, it takes minutes to switch it off. Overall I am very impressed on this laptop if you are looking for a machine that can handle low end applications this is a no brainer.

Great laptop for the price surfing the web looking for jobs great little laptop

I'll keep this short and sweet. I bought this mostly for internet browsing by my family. It fails to do that. I have an old lenovo chromebook that works faster than this one. I guess it needs for memory out of the box? Serious lags with only a couple of basic internet sites open. As other have noted, you have to take it out of Windows S mode to install things like Google Chrome. I'll be returning.

Bought this to replace an old dinosaur HP laptop for work. Needed something to render wiring diagrams in internet explorer. Nothing else. This works perfect.

This device was lacking in many areas, mainly speed. Just needed this as a loaner until I could get my Lenovo fixed. Only used for minor websurfing and word processor, but everything was incredibly slow compared to my original laptop. This definitely seems more like an old netbook as far as processing speed and all the trouble I had to go through just to download Google Chrome on it was ridiculous. Not to mention Cortana and Windows practically shoving Internet explorer down my throat. I get it, you're claiming IE works faster, but it has none of my Google login info. All my logins and passwords for thousands of sites I have saved in my google profile is enough to keep me from any other browser, but this "laptop" hardly gave me the option. This may be a good beginner laptop for like a 10-year-old, but the speed is just not up to date. Definitely returning.

This computer turns off unexpectedly, blacks out and freezes! I'm not huge on technology but this is taking it back to dial up speeds. Sorry to return a cute little device but it does not make life simpler.

This does not have real Windows 10. It has some restricted version called "S Mode" that only allows you download from the Microsoft Store. Supposedly this is easily disabled but I have been trying to do that for 35 minutes now and totally frustrated. I bought this to run a simple program and it wont even let me load the program from a disk. Returning it in the morning. Buy something else and save youirself a lot of trouble.
