However, connecting to the internet is and has been a problem. This is a common and known issue with these machines, per the interwebs. But I am connecting via a secured Wifi network, fiber optic speeds, all other local devices including phones are showing 250+Mbps. This device is regularly clocking at ~30Mbps. You read that correctly. Thirty. It is laggy and does not efficiently run a web-based data platform (no photos.). I cannot say that, even at the $100 price point, that I would choose to purchase this again for online work needs. But perhaps for a student, entering notes, creating term papers etc, it may suffice.

We do understand your concern if you are experieincing slow wireless connection with the laptop.
We are aware of this wireless issue being reported by some users. Usually, this will be resolved by the following steps. Verify if the laptop is within range to an established wireless router or access point and internet connection is stable, and is getting an excellent signal. Check if the laptop is running with the most Windows update and chipset driver. The wireless LAN driver was installed using the file posted at: https://www.asus.com/laptops/for-home/all-series/asus-e210/helpdesk_download/?model2Name=ASUS-E210.

Not bad for low cost

This device should probably be running Windows 10 not 11. ChromeOS with the Intel Celeron N4020 is a much better choice. Don't have a bunch of background tasks running with this device.

Got if for kids schooling but is very slow and often needs messing with to be usable. One thing is constant is wifi network dissappears and i have to reboot the pc and network adapter

Screen size is adequate, but the display is not as bright. It would have been better if the storage is 128GB.
