1. Unplug the charger
2. Press and hold the power button for 1 full minute

In order to install Webroot, the PC has to be put in S mode which is not recommended. Also I contacted Geek Squad 1 time each about 2 separate questions and Geek Squad gave me a bad/wrong answer both times.

The laptop comes with a WINDOWS 11 S Mode version, which was intended for speed, simplicity and security. Only applications available at the Microsoft Store are allowed to be installed. If this is your first experience with Windows 11, please go to: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/features?r=1 for helpful tips on how to navigate within the OS smoothly. In order to install third-party applications, the OS needs to be switched to WINDOWS 10 HOME. Unit is a steal at sale price. Only downside is speakers so just use headphones or Bluetooth.Very easy setup and feels well made

We do undestand your disappointment with product support service and inconvenience this may have caused.
If the laptop stop working, or will not boot up, just black screen but the fan, please do the following. Please try to do a power cycle by pressing and holding down the power button to shut it down completely. If it still black screen after a few minutes, at least 10 minutes, please repeat the power cycle process again. If the laptop is applying updates in the System Registry, it will black screen temporarily until the update were applied successfully. Also, please try to disconnect the power cable and let the unit drain for 24 hours to clear the memory. This will reset the hardware to default settings. After doing this, please reconnect your AC adapter, do not power on the laptop until the battery was charged.
