The laptop was on sale and I knew that I just needed a machine to get some work done here and there. But even with my high speed internet I am struggling to get things done. It freezes every few seconds and it’s such a pain. I gave it almost a month but either my machine is super defective or it’s just not worth it. I only have Norton downloaded on it

Bought this back in June had defective key keeps falling off and mouse freezing off. Brand new computer luckily I bought insurance and had to take in for repair2-3 week lead time.. is a disappointment when geek squad has to send repairs out to facility. Aren't they capable of in house troubleshooting??

I wish I could return this. I like Asus stuff. My last computer was. I’m low on funds so picked this up to save some money. This is the slowest load times and not enough space. Not worth it.

I’ve had my Asus 14” VivoBook for a little while nkw and for the price, it’s pretty impressive. If you’re on a budget but still want a decent laptop, this is a solid choice. First off, the design. It's sleek and lightweight, which makes it super easy to carry around. The 14” size is perfect—not too big, not too small. It feels sturdy enough to handle daily use without any problems. I’ve had laptops that felt like they’d fly apart at the smaller bump so this is not that! Performance-wise, the VivoBook is pretty capable. It’s got an Intel Core i3 processor and 8GB of RAM, which handles everyday tasks smoothly. Browsing, streaming, and even some light photo editing are totally doable. It’s not meant for heavy gaming or intense video editing, but for regular use, it’s definitely than adequate and potentially great for a student. Now, let’s talk about the display. It’s a Full HD screen, but honestly, it’s nothing to write home about. The colors are a bit dull and the brightness could be better. It gets the job done for work and casual streaming, but don’t expect top-notch visuals. One of the highlights for me is the keyboard. It’s comfortable to type on, with decent key travel and backlighting, which is great for late-night work sessions. The trackpad is responsive and supports multi-touch gestures, making navigation easy. Battery life is pretty solid, too. I get about 7-8 hours of moderate use, which is enough to get through a full workday (or school day).
