I purchased this laptop without doing any research. It was an open item at my local best buy and I needed a Windows computer to run a software. Cool features but I had to return it due to the brightness of the screen. I don't know if my laptop was defective but the screen was not bright enough. At the store the display model seemed to be Ok but maybe it was just the lighting. I returned it the same day.

Its great, it does what i want it to with few issues. But has a tendency to not lock the keyboard if i click tablet mode.

It was an ok laptop but if you go to the open box section you can spend the same money for a way better laptop.

In order for this device to perform at an adequate level, replace 1TB spinning drive with $60 SSD. Much better.

It would not charge. Could only use while plugged in. Best Buy could not get it to charge either. Returned it and purchased another brand.

This computer was the worst nightmare you could have with a computer. Right from the start, it did not have in it what was advertised, did not function well,...was extremely slow(slower than my 7 yr old Dell i3),. I brought it in for service several times. In the first three weeks it was in for service more than I got to use it. and then the touch screen stopped working. The computer had to be replaced by another computer because it could not be fixed. Bought another Dell.

The display quality was poor on this tablet. I wasn't impressed and returned it.

I like this unit as it can be a laptop or function as a tablet when you want it to do so. When I got this yesterday, it had Windows 10 installed on it already. but not the big November update for Threshold...so that took about an hour to download and install. If you are getting really slow Wi-Fi speeds, go to Asus' website and download the driver. Then reinstall the driver from the file that you downloaded. I was only getting 2mbps download but after reinstalling the driver, I was getting 16mpbs.

This is really a pathetic experience....Laptop wont connect to wifi and there is no support after 30 days of purchase. Simply waste of money and time. Poor Performance.

Exstreamly slow running computer wish i never baught it

I feel this is a really good laptop for the price bracket. It serves its purpose for internet and Microsoft office. Also, it is a really light and easy for traveling.

I first fell in love with the looks. The keyboard (though I wished it was backlit) and the aluminum body. The specs are pretty good and pretty responsive and I've been multi-tasking with it without any lag. I connect it to my Insignia Smart TV through HDMI for movies and as a continuous/double screen for multi-tasking on projects. Overall a very good product for its price. There's worse out there and in my opinion this is the best for its price range. I would definitely recommend this to anyone specially for students. Never had problems with it and the flip feature never gave me any problems. Minor downside of this ASUS is its speakers, weight (but that's because of its hard drive I assume), and wishing it had retina display like Apple. But that's for a more expensive product. TOUCHPAD IS GREAT! Great buy for a first laptop!!!!!
