IPS display is bright enough and sharp looking. Keyboard is terrible in semi bright area because letters on keyboard are white on silver and are not easily visible.

Indeed, it has a sleek design and a decent device for basic tasks like browsing the web, checking email, and watching videos.
We do understand your concern about the storage size. If additional storage is needed, you can always use an external USB device or a memory card. Also, Google Drive is available, or other Cloud storage services. The battery life is approximately 10 hours of light to medium workload. If it doesn't last that long, please do a battery calibration manually. To start with, please drain it completely then charge it fully without using the system. Once fully-charged, please use the laptop, without the AC adapter connected, and drain let the battery drain completely again.

Purchased a few of these around $200-230 as open box. I have reduced one star because ASUS limits warranty for open box items to 90 days and best buy does not make it clear during purchase.
