I bought this for school use and it’s perfect. The tablet and laptop combo was the best choice for school. My only complaint is the ChromeOS, which is obviously a personal preference issue. But regardless of that great small form laptop/tablet

Great price with many nice features. I needed a laptop or tablet to look things up on the internet in a remote room of the house. This gives all the things I need. The only downside I found about it is there is no adjustment for the sensitivity of the touchpad. So I find myself accidentally clicking when I don't want to.

Great touchscreen Chromebook for beginners and also for anyone working online applications directly from the browser. The 8GB RAM makes it smooth and easy. Flips back full to get that tablet feeling but the 14" screen on tablet mode looks little too big to use on tablet mode for a long time.

It is impressive, no words, don't expect it to do heavy CPU or GPU intensive work but otherwise it is a no brainer at $180, amazing resolution and enough power to even support 4K second monitor without any lags for playing video. The best part is it turns into a giant android tablet!

GOOD: Fast, good graphics, good sound, lighted keyboards. So far so good. BAD: Stiff hinges, takes 2 hands to open. This device is on the heavy side.

This is my first Chrome book and I’ve been very impressed. It’s fast with a nice display and was easy to learn. Does everything I need and tons of apps to choose from. Only negative I have is the keys are hard to read in certain lighting.

Mom loved this gift, works well for her needs and was a replacement for her old tablet. She likes it better because of the keyboard and the bigger screen, but can also be used like a tablet with the touchscreen while also able to fold it.

Good computer. My very first Chromebook. Wish it was offered in black? The silver makes it hard to see the keys when it's dark even with the back light on, I also find it to be a bit heavy(I once had a Mac which was lighter), but other than that, I got a great deal for my Chromebook during black Friday. It's simple, web based and does what I need it to do since I am not a gamer and do not do anything fancy on it. For those reasons, I give this Chromebook/laptop 3 stars.

If you plan to use this at night or without good lighting the keyboard letters etc are impossible to see. The backlight is a joke, I have to use a flashlight or hold it up towards the lamp on my bedside table to see the letters to type. Ridiculous !!

Excellent buy. My first chromebook didn't disappoint. Super fast, great touchscreen, bright display. For my use, battery lasts 3+ days and recharge is fast. I considered a tablet, but this is more convenient.

very sleek, and fast computer. Beautiful bright screen for a chromebook. Only drawback is the lack of keyboard lettering contrast.

Will be your needs for regular personal use. I just wished that the keyboard Backlight was better or the keyboard letters were dark to see what keys you’re using

This Chromebook is great. It looks good & is fast. I especially like the lighted keyboard. I look forward to using the LG DVD Writer soon. The Chromevox voice thingy can be annoying though.

Already Dead. It worked quite well the first week or two, but it began to not turn on occasionally, and now it is as dead as a doornail. I did like it those few times it worked. Brilliant screen, and highly functional. I am past the return date and have only had it for 34 days - big waste of time and money. I can't recommend this, even though I have bought several Asus products over the years.

overall decent for the discounted price but i was disappointed at the very basic/poor camera as i looking to use this mainly for zoom calls. I didn't see it mentioned in prior reviews.

Replace previous Chromebook due to screen going black for long perioda of time (even after charging). This New one had the same issue. Replaces with an HP laptop.

This was purchased as a Christmas gift for my daughter so not sure h I w it works tet but with all the reviews and details listed I'm sure she will like it

I have several Asus Chromebooks and they offer a nice balance of price and performance. This is the best one yet as far as build quality goes.

Amaong laptop for the price when it was on sale, highly recommend if you need an upgrade. Does have backlit keyboards if anyone is wondering.

I love the esthetic of this Chromebook. It’s sleek and stylish. It’s just a tad sluggish for myself however it’s great for my 9yr old son. He loves it!
