Nice light crome book. Very good picture quality, love the c-port charging on both sides. Only reason giving 4 stars is due to lack of extra soft pads on the edge because it can fold 360. Would have like extra pads for support.

This laptop is very fast and the touchscreen feature is amazing! I also like the flip around screen. It’s perfect for my kids to use, or myself for work!

Bought for my 8 yr old granddaughter and she loves it. She uses it for school work with no problem. She watches movies and the battery life is awesome.

Open Box Excellent, seems to be! Nice screen (especially enjoy the touch screen), lighted keyboard is easy to adjust (usually to off in bright ambient light), 64 bit ChromeOS is nice. Sometimes seems to have a little trouble with connecting to 5ghz band (has to be closer than other devices seemingly need to be), but other than that, exactly what I was looking for in a Chromebook

I've never really had an easy time with a Chromebook, because there always seems to be something I need that I can't get out of them. This one is no exception, but it does make me wish that it weren't the case. A lot of Chromebooks you see these days use Celeron or Pentium processors coupled with 4GB of RAM. This thing, on the other hand, was an absolute beast of a machine thanks to double the RAM and the Core m3 processor. While I was using it, I didn't encounter a single issue. Browsing the web was always responsive, the apps worked fine, and even the sound was decent. It worked fine in tablet mode too, though I've always said that 14" is just a little too big for it to be comfortable to use like that. However, the display *is* good for watching videos, because it's not only big but pretty crisp as well. I really liked the backlit keyboard, since I like to work at night or in low-light conditions. The one issue I had that made me return it was my business class. It worked fine with everything else, such as light programming or even drawing. However, the fact that the machine is restricted to the mobile and web versions of Microsoft Office is a pretty huge handicap for it, because those versions of Office do not do everything the desktop edition does. Overall, this was a pretty sweet machine to use, and I think it's a great example of how Chromebooks can shine when they're not bare-min spec. I'd definitely recommend it, if and only if you don't depend on advanced features of Microsoft Office.

Does everything I need it to and then some. Not high end by any means. I beefed it up with a new SSD and maxed out the ram.

Fast and responsive. BB specifications are wrong: it does have touchscreen and backlit keyboard. A bit heavy.

great value for a work laptop that might get broke decent price for something that works but wouldnt be a tragedy if it was damaged in the field

I've had an Asus for the last six plus years. I've loved it! But, it's now having issues so needed to get something to keep me going. Purchased a Geo GeoBook which was a HUGE disappointment. They ended up sending me two, had to return to the store in Bismarck ND (a three hour drive each way!) and they even tried to get a third one out of their stock to run. No go! Each needed Windows reinstalled, which they tried and they couldn't even do that. I definitely do not recommend GeoBooks! They made good on all this at the Best Buy store and set me up with this Asus 2 in 1 Chromebook. This Asus on the other hand is doing just fine so far. No problems and hopefully won't have any. Based on my experience with my first Asus I'm sure it will be a great machine. I've never owned a Chomebook till now but so far, so good. I definitely can recommend this and as far as I'm concerned Asus as a brand. Great machines which keep on truckin'. They told me they can bump up all my memory on this one as well so I definitely plan to have them do that in the not too distant future. Basically it will match my first Asus other than with a smaller screw... 14 instead of 17 but has the touch screen, 2 in 1 setup and lighted keyboard as well. Everything my original has. So far, so good!
