This laptop is everything I needed and wanted, the only downside is needing to buy and external DVD player.

No problems, other than the ten key is not that big or the way I'm used to having it. Overall pretty sweet!

I have had this laptop for about a month and so far I have no complaints. I got this refurbished and was a little skeptical because I had gotten burned before by a refer bushes zen book but this one has been great.

Was a gift to a non savy computer user. Works great and does everything it was suppose .

I'm really glad to have this has my first laptop. It can handle some of my more taxing games and has a reliable battery life. Any problems I have with it have come from Windows updates.

This computer has everything I need and much more. Should last me for a very long time

The laptop generally runs pretty great. I needed it for some basic photoshopping - nothing too crazy . But the program starts to freeze and give me errors on the graphics card stopping . It comes back on and continues to work about 5 seconds later... Just a bit annoying... But otherwise it's been working great.

Nice sturdy laptop. ......good for beginning gamers but especially students .

A Great laptop, very compact, anda very varsatility

I was looking to replace my 5 year old Vaio laptop that was rocking a first generation i3 processor, and would get hot enough to warm up last night's leftovers. The fan was spinning so fast and loud I thought it was going to spit fire at some point. It was time to get that thing off my lap. I wasn't necessarily looking for a 2-in-1 machine (like to connect a wireless USB mouse and operate that way, so the touchscreen is more of a novelty), but this ASUS model had the specs I was looking for (full HD display, 6th generation i5, 8 GB RAM, 1 TB HD), and the value to get them all in one place was better than anything currently offered, 2-in-1 or otherwise. $649.99 for this machine seems like a bargain compared to other options in the price range when you compare the specs and modes this offers. The display is great, very vibrant and sharp. The key here is the 1920 x 1080 resolution. You'll notice cheaper models with a lesser resolution and it makes a huge difference in the quality of the display. The battery life is very respectable with general use and the right power settings. The keyboard is very comfortable, and the fact it has a 10-key pad is aces in my mind. I can't speak much to its use as a tablet, but the few times I did use my finger to operate the touchscreen, it was very responsive and accurate in my commands. The one setback is what others have mentioned previously, and that is the finger prints/marks that are easily left all over the casing as soon as you touch it. While not the end of the world, it looks like the thing has been touched after someone got done eating an order of french fries as soon as you pull it from the box. I will still give it a 5-star rating despite this since it doesn't impact the operation of the machine. Overall, definitely worth considering if on sale for the specs alone, and the fact it can double as a tablet. Do the research, you'll keep coming back to this one like I did.

I got a great deal on this laptop with it being on sale plus a student discount. The laptop works great haven't had any issues.

This computer is the best, I use it for work, school and for fun and it handles all that I give it to do, which is a lot.

When I first booted up a year ago, this laptop was as slow as the laptop I was replacing that crashed! They keyboard is small. Even after a year I have trouble typing on it, and I'm a fast and accurate typist with small hands, and it's too small for me. I can't get used to even after a year of constant use. The right side shift button is tiny. The keyboard keys seem to be perhaps more closely together and/or smaller. The entire mouse pad is split in the middle between left and right. If your hand drifts even slightly, you're clicking the wrong side. I knew the laptop didn't didn't have a DVD drive, but I didn't realize how much I'd miss it.
