Customers are saying
Customers are delighted by the fast boot times and ample storage space offered by the SSD and large hard drive. The responsive touch screen and overall performance also receive high praise. However, some users note that the battery life could be improved. The laptop's light weight and ease of use are additional positive aspects frequently mentioned.

Great specs and excellent slim design!!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased a month ago the same laptop Q504 with i5 processor 7th gen for $799. After 3 weeks I saw on Best Buy site an upgraded version of q504 with i7 7th gen, 4 extra GB of memory and 128 SSD on top of 1 TB HDD for just $100 more but not available yet. I went to return the old one before my Elite 30 days return will expire. I asked if they know when the new one will be available. One of the salesman checked and amazingly found one in stock :) So if you like it just call the Best Buy store and check.

Awesome Laptop
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went to Best Buy to check out another laptop, but that laptop didn't have the specs I want so I ask the sales rep to check if he has this Asus laptop in stock. Luckily he had one in the back. I went ahead and pick it up. It was either this laptop or the HP envy x360 i7 model. This Asus laptop had a HDD and SSD drive, and the HP only had a HDD drive. I've had great experience with Asus in the past, that's why I went with them again this time.

Great Work Computer.... does not include Kapersky
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Computer works and functions amazing and GREAT PRICE for the amount of RAM I7 processor and SATA and SSD drives. Computer = A++++. Only problem, the advertised Kapersky download that it says is sent to you for download in 30 minutes is not correct. After 30 minutes on the phone with Geek Squad and post sales I now have to drive back to Best Buy to purchase this, and they are crediting the cost of it back. Make sure to leave the store with the security package in HAND. It is not an emailed download as advertised.

Great set of specs for its time
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Has room for an additional SSD drive as well. I had an Aspire before this and it was a total lemon. This one has been trouble free.

NEVER BUY ANY ASUS PRODUCT EVER!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Warning: If you buy any ASUS product, in my case a higher end laptop, and it breaks (manufactures warranty or not) THEIR CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS COMPLETELY USELESS. Had repeated and various problems and sent back laptop (4) times, all refurbished and non-functional. After the fourth time, I was promised a new model, still in the litigation process, been a month now and they are trying to send me another refurbished same model. I work as a supervisor in State Government and will do everything in my limited power to use a different company for Government business. Best Buy was excellent, and fully understand that models break down, but was severely disappointed in the customer service from ASUS. Buyer be extremely cautious. I just lost 1200$ to ASUS and have nothing to show for it. I was always told how great of a company ASUS was and how great their components are but that is NO LONGER TRUE! They have not won any significant awards since 2013 (you can look that up) and are no longer this great company. I bought the computer 11 months ago and have not had the computer in my possession for 4 of those 11 months. Here is my story, if you want the details of what I went through: I bought an ASUS notebook (Republic of Gamers) in 12/2015.....it failed in April 2015 for a failed component in my charger, it fried my daughter board, sent into their repair center....3 weeks later got the same model back and fixed...it failed AGAIN in July 2015 with a failed Intel Graphics card.... sent back to repair center....ANOTHER 3 weeks later got the same computer back fixed......failed AGAIN in Aug. 2015, failed NVIDA graphics card....sent in to repair...3 weeks later got a refurbished same model replacement.....had that for 3 weeks then failed AGAIN when a component failed in my screen....sent back in to repair center...3 weeks later got MY 2ND REFURBISHED same model and it came BROKEN!! It didn’t even work when I got it. I sent that model in the repair center, got there 11/4, they mixed up my RMA number so I did not match my serial number, took a week to figure that you, I was promised by their top supervisors that with this many failed model I would be eligible for a new, upgraded different model replacement. Couldn’t get ahold of the supervisor I have been talking to, she was avoiding my phone calls. I got an email from the support center that they are offering me AGAIN, THE SAME MODEL REFURBISHED replacement for the 3rd time. If I was to reject this offer, and they choose not to offer me anything else, they said they are going to SEND BACK MY BROKEN COMPUTER and that would be it! The customer support said they actually have nothing to do with what replacement you would get. It’s all up to the repair center, and you cannot speak to the repair center, because, “it is not in their job description to talk to the public.” All this has happened while in the manufactures warranty. I bought the computer 11 months ago and have not had the computer in my possession for 4 of those 11 months. Once again, beware, if you decide to go with ASUS because you are risking hundreds or thousands of dollars (in my case).
