I purchased this for my daughter. We saved a few bucks on an open box item and it showed up like new. The i5 is snappy and the Chromebook is great. No complaints!

This replaced an older Chromebook that was getting very slow (4gb RAM and i3). The extra RAM and i5 processor really make a difference.

Very happy with the purchase. It does everything I need, with ease. I'm only giving it four stars though because the battery life is not great. It's not terrible, but most Chromebook Plus models these days have at least twelve hours of battery life. This only has 7 or 8 at the most. Other than that, it's great. Just make sure to have a charger on you wherever you go.

picture quality and sound excellent, great for streaming movies and or videos. Not too sure about the AI stuff, need more time to play with it.

Very cool, I love this laptop and it has only been a few days since I purchased it, I optimized it by downloading Linux, but its original Operating System is very easy and friendly to use, so I recommend this to anyone who wants a powerful, but quick laptop.

Easy to set up very fast. All the apps came had to transfer all my files from my other Chromebook and it was a fairly easy process. Maybe about 4 hours but working well at this time

I was initially satisfied with my purchase. Everything seemed to be running smoothly. Unfortunately, like many other Chromebooks this computer also seems to run into issues running Zoom. Even when just Zoom is open I’ve started experiencing extreme lag and crashing. As I’m taking courses online, it’s a big problem. That aside, the computer is pretty great in terms of the look and feel.

I have had my share of Chromebooks over the years, but I think this is the best one I have used. Rather easily. It is a nice mix of hardware, and the software has gotten quite refined as well as versatile. There is a lot to like. It is well-built (apparently passing a military-grade durability rating), solid, and “feels good in the hand.” That said, it Is still a nice weight and easy to take on the go. The screen is a good size and delivers a nice-looking image, while also being touchscreen. Colors are accurate and it all just looks good. If I had to nitpick, it could be a bit brighter, but it is a non-issue for me. I do really like the matte/antiglare tech, but that is a personal preference. The keyboard felt good, and was easy to get used to, but I really wish they would have made it backlit. Kind of a miss for me. Design-wise, overall, I like the look and color. It is not the sleekest machine out there, but I think it looks good. Honestly, I think most people should like it. I think for me, some of the spec choices are a big part of what sets this machine apart from some others in the Chromebook space. On some level not a lot is needed in this space, but having a more powerful chip, 8GB of DDR5, and 128GB of storage (UFS) is nice to see. Not only does all of this deliver better performance, but also, and maybe more importantly, a better experience. Everything was a tick snappier, and while I am not saving a ton of data locally, having a little more space to play with is very welcome. It just eliminates a common concern. A nice add. Lastly, those spec bumps may provide a little future proofing going forward. Another nice add. Additionally, I like the connectivity and port choices. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth worked well and without issue. 2 USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 (on opposite sides), 2 USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, 1 HDMI 1.4 out, and a Combo Audio jack are a nice mix of ports and all that I need. All in all, I am very pleased with all the hardware. That said, I think the software meets or even surpasses it. ChromeOS has come a long way, and I am quite impressed with how it all comes together on this machine. Setup is very easy. Very. I was up and running immediately. Of course, there are all the Google Apps (including Gemini, but more on that later) which most people use, and I am heavily invested in as well all Chrome OS Apps, but now you can do more. Having access to the Play Store really gives you access to a large collection of software. Office 365, Photoshop, etc…can all be used. I have to think most people will be covered here. Performance-wise, I have zero complaints. Startups are near-immediate and apps open without lag. In the day to day, everything is very snappy. While I realize this machine is not really “meant” for gaming, I did a little (light variety) and was happy to see that it handled it well. Battery life has also been good. To this point, as rated, with “great” stand by times, but a lot of that will be use case and I need some more time to see how it does. I don’t think it will be a problem though. Also, I appreciate having the USB-C charging ports on opposite sides. It just gives a little flexibility. Lastly, I feel I need to touch on the Gemini software. I personally find it useful, and it runs well on this Chromebook. That said, the fact that Google is including 12 months of their Gemini Pro plan ($20/month) with this machine is a very good deal. It comes with the AI component, but also additional things, (2 TB storage, 10% store discount, etc…) and of course make sure the offer is still live and you are eligible, but this should not be overlooked. Ultimately, I really like this Chromebook. I think the “Plus” designation fits, and it does everything I need and want it to do. Well. I think for all you can do, and get, it’s a great value.
