    I should have looked into the chrome os more. This is a glorified tablet with a keyboard. It only runs mobile apps and Web apps. If you need something that runs on Windows it won't do that. I had issues with a lot of apps and experience devices not working correctly

    When I purchased this computer, it was with the understanding that it had a backlit keyboard. The one on the floor did and that was what I thought I was buying!

      We do understand your disappointment with the Chromebook and the inconvenience this may have caused if product you received doesn't have a keyboard backlit. If you did receive the CX3402CVA Chromebook, it does have a keyboard light. To enable or adjust the backlight, you can use keyboard shortcuts. Press "Alt + . (period)" repeatedly to make the keyboard light brighter and to decrease or turn off, press "Alt + , (comma)" or hold the shortcut down until the light turns off.
