Worked great for a while then just went all crazy!

It required an update to use it....i installed the update and it kept freezing up and running sooooo slow. So I took it to geek squad to do the update thinking I did something wrong. I waited 4 hours and when it was ready the problems were still there. I then exchanged it for another thinking I got a lemon. Again waited 4 more hours ( because I live an hour away and didn't want to drive back) and the exchanged new computer had the same issue. Geek squad was awesome about trying to figure out the problem but could not solve it. So I asked for my money back and didn't buy it.

I have bought 4 of these, and 3 of them ended up having some sort of issue. I had a keyboard problem, and the other 2 had 100% disk usage all the time, that the normal fixes didnt work for. (I am an IT manager, so am fairly knowledgeable on repairing PC's).

This thing is T U R D. It is slow to start up and can't even accomodate surfing the web and emails at a decent speed - that is all it is used for. I am hard wired into a FTH connection with 200mb speed. This thing locks up and is slow to process.

Worst Laptop EVER! It takes forever to start up, and programs run really slow. I cannot open more then 3 webpages (tabs) at once, or the pages will stop loading....I have used Chrome, Firefox, IE, and still the same issue. Not a smooth laptop, as I type this review my typing pauses and I have to stop for it to catch up. I have updated ever firmware, program, driver. I have always loved ASUS, but with this product I am going to turn else where and will steer friends away too.

I am thoroughly dissappointed with this purchase and I wish now I trusted my gut instinct and went with a Mac. From the very first time I used this laptop, the entire system froze several times.

Does not work properly in tablet mode it's the second one the first one was replaced the second one does the same thing they worked on it couldn't fix it so they replaced it would not recommend

I planned on buying an HP or a Dell laptop but sales person recommended the Asus. When I flipped the screen to tablet mode, it would go black. I returned the laptop and got another one and it did not work properly in tablet mode either. The keyboard would not disable. I ended up returning the second laptop also. I ended up getting a Dell laptop which works the way it's supposed to. I personally will not purchase any Asus products in the future.

I agreed to buy an open book model of this computer. Big Mistake!!! I am having some many issues with my new computer. It is constantly locking up and having to be restarted. My brother-in-law said that the CPU is running constantly at 99-100% which is part of the issue. I plan to bring it in to the Geek Squad over the weekend to try to figure why I am having problems with this computer. I am seriously regretting buying this computer at this point.

Glad I bought Geek Squad maintenance. Windows update killed laptop. Everything had to be replaced including keyboard. Went out 27 days later.

It's slow and it's fancy and it's pretty but it runs slow. I got it so that I would be able to use SketchUp everything moves very slowly on it

My daughter purchased it for her college class that is out of town and she will not be back til end of June. The laptop doesn't work and she is now away doing a class without a computer. Hopefully she will not fail the class due to her not having a working computer. Very upset spent so much money on a horrible product and I just hope that the store will let her exchange this lemon for a working one.

I bought the computer just before Christmas. The sales associate seemed to be in a hurry and said it was a good model. Needless to say it would not recognize the Office package I bought and I never could get it to work correctly. I brought it back and they told me it would be easier to return it and get another model because this particular model came back pretty regularly with issues.

Laptop was slow and sluggish during the set up process. On the second day that laptop would keep on shutting down without warning. We took the laptop back to Best Buy and exchanged it for an HP model. Best Buy's no questions asked policy made the return process easy and we walked out of the store with a much better computer that actually worked like it should.

Got a bad vibe immediately when it failed 4 times to update Windows 10. Varying performance. Sometimes so slow it took 10 minutes to get to the control panel. Tried to restore defaults but after running overnight it was at 4%. Worst laptop experience I've had

Already had to be replaced.... the machine does not deliver what was predicted!

Not happy with the laptop. Very slow. Display screen sucks. No cd rom.

I like it. It does whatit was purchased for. Mainly Microsoft Office

Have had nothing but trouble .Back in geek squad for repairs.

Asus may have other products that work well, but not this laptop. It may have been the OS, but it was constantly freezing. I also do not like the keyboard, or port connection placements.
