    This thing is a complete waste of money. Just barely outside the return window and the router is already proving itself to be worthless. The 2.4 GHz band constantly drops out, making the whole unit nothing but overpriced trash.

    Worst Asus Router Ever!

    This router is terrible, I would not recommend it. Go with anything but this one and I returned this and went with the ASUS - ROG Strix GS-BE18000 Tri-Band Wi-Fi 7 Gaming Router. It's a bit more pricey but way more solid. Do Not waste your time with it.

    Constant Connection Drop and Higher CPU usage

    I wish I can give ZERO stars, and return this garbage. I upgraded and added this router to my existing AIMesh, but this was a mistake. Always had a great experience with Asus router, and this one is hot garbage. First 2-3 weeks, it worked with out any issue, and now the internet us keeps dropping for no reason. Tried everything what Asus suggested, tried all the tricks from online different forums, and groups, but seems like it is a design issue and firmware is unable to fix it.

    Don't Bother

    Don't bother. Just outside of the return window, this router will let you down. The 2.4 GHz band will constantly disconnect from the internet and render it useless—super expensive junk. I will be moving to Ubiquiti—like I should have from the get-go. I had to replace a Netgear wifi 7 router for a similar issue, but that was all bands and LAN connections. Is there a good one out there? The only thing my Netgear had on this one was that the range was waaaaaaay better.

      We do understand your disappointment with the product and the inconvenience this may have caused if you are experiencing connection problem. To resolve the unstable connection, please check if the PC or device connecting to the router is working properly and within range to the router, the router is within 30 feet to the ISP's modem, if not wired by a network cable, and ISP's internet service or connection is working properly or stable. Legacy devices may not work properly with WIFI-6e and WIFI-7, please check updates for these device. Also, try connecting this manually to either 2.4GHz or 5GHz. You can try to disable your ISP's modem wireles connection. Additionally, we recommend updating the router's firmware if running with an older version. Firmware is available for download at:  https://www.asus.com/us/networking-iot-servers/wifi-7/all-series/asus-rt-be92u/helpdesk_bios?model2Name=ASUS-RT-BE92U.

    Very poor experience for the last 6 months with this router. Ir frequently drops our SSID offline, disconnects all devices in the house, then eventual brings everything online again. This happens several times per day. We have replaced it with a TP-Link - Archer AX20 AX1800, and have had a better experience, but we are not pleased with throwing away $250 on this.

To resolve this unstable connection, place the router in the center of the area you want to cover, avoid placing the router near metal objects, electronic devices or direct sunlight, position the router on a flat, hard surface and halfway between the floor and ceiling. Additionally, dense building materials, such as gypsum, concrete walls and planks can affect Wi-Fi signal penetration. Also, we recommend updating the router's firmware if it is running with an older version.     Has lots of options. It you have a strong networking background, this can adapt to your needs. My experience was a power supply that died within 1 hour of setup so i got rid of it. Your mileage my vary.

    6 ghz band stopped woking after couple of hours

    easy installation, good range. However, the 6ghz band showed up for a couple of hours and disappeared from all devices, I tried everything, including a factory reset, and didn't work anymore, taking the router back

    I would not recommend this router. Had to keep rebooting a few of these a day to make the Wi-Fi work.

    I should have taken the reviews seriously. This router is bad. Constant disconnects over WiFi. Ethernet seems fine. I tried a few things I found on the internet to fix it, it clearly such a problem that there’s a lot of people talking about it. Nothing worked. If it didn’t have the disconnecting issue it would be perfect. I like ASUS a lot and this router checked all the boxes. Should have known it was too good to be true. Stay away.

    Really terrible. It takes forever to boot up, setup took several retries to work, and then once I got it up and running, any time I changed a setting it would reboot and half the time the config page wouldn't load at all. CPU and ram on it always show high usage. After the first reboot the internet stops working completely. The only fix is a factory reset. I even updated it to the latest software but it's just been these same issues on repeat over hours of troubleshooting. Really bad product, avoid it!

    Garbage Router Randomly Drops Internet Connection
