I got this on sale, but even the full price would be a bit of a bargain. You do need to spend the first few hours of ownership updating everything (particularly windows 11) before setting it up how you want it, but a small/tiny price to pay for the value you're getting.

Fan noise is low and and joint conjunction is smooth. There is a small thing that I am concerned about: One USB port is on the right middle near the ventilation exit which becomes hot under high loads. My last laptop experienced the same issue and the USB port neared the vent exit was broken caused by high temperature.

Was somewhat underwhelmed prior to that change. With the default settings the laptop picks when to use the dedicated graphics vs on chip to save power. It rarely utilized the dedicated card at all in my case and the Windows Desktop Manager service for some reason chewed up memory. After using the Nvidia drivers to prefer the dedicated graphics both issues went away.

Quick with download speeds and was easy to upgrade the ssd for more memory. Does smudge easily but not a deal breaker and sound is good but could definitely be louder. Also battery not the longest maybe 4 hrs so definitely need to have charger nearby. Overall good laptop for the average consumer who games on the side that wont break the bank.

HOWEVER, the included display with this laptop IS NOT adaptive sync capable despite it being listed in more than 1 spot on this listing. Not sure if I'm taking it back or not...pretty disappointed that a simple spec like that can't be advertised correctly. Confirmed this with nvidia profile inspector...gsync/adaptive sync enabled, VRR capable display = NO. Display quality isn't great either, but that's pretty much what I expected at this price range.
