Very good laptop for the money plays all games with no issues

Really enjoying this laptop, especially for the price I got it ($1,099). It's fast, reliable (so far) and ive had no software issues yet. It does get very hot, but thats to be expected for its size. The screen is not as bad as others say it is. Highly recommend!

Awesome computer just a lil hot sometimes but still solid.

I use it for school and editing, while my husband uses it for his engineering studies and gaming. Overall we run a lot of different programs on it, and it works great for both of our needs, no problems at all, runs super smoothly and looks great.

So far the laptop is working great. I did run into a problem with the security program interfering with the functioning of a game that I wanted to play. It required a bit of a work around but fortunately the support team at 2K had a good idea of what the problem was and was able to walk me through it.

Good price for the characteristic however not that easy to set up

After returning a new laptop after having for 5 days to only order another.. the 2nd one hasn’t had any issues so far..Best Buy wants info about battery and speed. Since it’s still NEW.. no issues so far.

Loved this laptop. Love ASUS as brand. However quality issues on this was atrocious. I got one in January, and when I got past the windows setup, it completely crashed. It shut off and didn’t turn on again, the middle of the laptop started overheating. Went to Best Buy to return, and got another one. Same thing happened during setup. I’ll prolly pickup this laptop in the near future but I got really unlucky with the laptops I got as it seems everyone else has a good experience. Will probably pick this up in the future, but please be aware this might happen.

Do NOT get this laptop if you intend on using it for any normal use. No thought was given to the location of the touch pad. I bought this laptop for myself to use for regular work and my husband for games. I cannot use it. Any time you type, you will trigger the touch pad. It is the WORST!!!

Powerful laptop built for gaming but obviously great for general purpose use too. 12th gen intel i7, nvidia 3070 w 8 Gb ddr6, 16Gb of ddr5 ram, and 512 Gb ssd. Great display with 144hz refresh and 1080 res. Mine does have some light bleed especially along the bottom edge but I only really notice it when it boots up. It doesn't seem noticeable the rest of the time. For serious gaming I usually connect to my 32" 2k external monitor and it supports the higher resolution and looks great on it. Nice keyboard, I like the added numeric keypad even though I may not use it that much as I usually also use an external keyboard and trackball for gaming. But for max portability the built in keyboard seems fine. It's backlit well though not rgb. Nice large touchpad as well. Mux switch available in the Armory Crate software to switch graphics from hybrid to pure nvidia graphics though they say this uses more battery power. I usually keep mine plugged in so not necessarily an issue for me. There's also an option in the My Asus app to limit the battery charge to protect it if you stay plugged in most of the time. Sound is just ok from the built in speakers, about what you expect from most laptops. Much better with headphones or external speakers. I wish it had a bigger ssd as 512 may be a bit small for some gamers but it does have a second slot to add more. Not sure if it supports gen 4 since the one it has is only gen 3 but I think most gen 4 are backward compatible just at gen 3 speeds. The screen does seem to have a little flex to it so be gentle opening and closing it. 16gb of ram should be enough for now for most gamers but it says you can upgrade to 32. I haven't really seen ddr5 ram for sale yet but I haven't really tried too hard. I'm sure it will be more available in the near future. You may be able to use ddr4 but ddr5 should be faster. It comes with 2 8Gb sticks of ddr5 for dual channel which can both be replaced. No touchscreen but that's ok with me since I don't really use touchscreens on laptops anyway. Does have a 720p webcam if you want one but I usually keep it turned off. Also has an ethernet connector for wired connection to your network/router but I would rather have a third usb a port since the wifi works well enough for me. But it could be handy if you encounter issues or driver problems with your wifi. Seems like a great gaming computer. I tried forza horizon 4 and Madden 22 and both run great. I will have to start shopping for some new games to try out on it, I'm sure it will handle any current games and future ones for quite some time.
