No complaint and thanks to salesman for recommending it, I had a total different approach and he steered me in this direction. I thought I did all my homework and was an educated consumer, but my salesman knew better. AND it wasn’t an up- sale, it actually was less. Thanks BestBuy

Budget Laptop

This laptop was meant for my Wife and for what she wants to do with it, it's fine. I would have preferred at least an Intel i5 for her and 1TB of storage, but she was good with the i3 and 256GB that came with this $300 laptop. To step up would have been almost twice the price. The biggest issue I have is the vertical viewing angle of the screen and the maximum resolution of 1600x768. To me, there's no reason why that even in a "Budget" laptop that you can't have at least 1920x1080. As far as the viewing angle, we are constantly pushing and pulling on the screen to get a good image. It really is quite annoying. I'll finish by saying that this is my Wife's first laptop and for the basic things she does, she is good with it. She's had iPads and Galaxy tablets which screens are much better. Problem is, they don't run Windows. The online info for the laptop says you can do "Basic Gaming". I guess "Basic Gaming" might be something like Solitare? The screen alone is a deal breaker for me. Spend a little more and get at least an i5, at least 12GB of Ram and 1TB of storage. Even browsing the internet will be much more enjoyable.

No SD card slot

If this is a necessity, this definitely will not be for you. Battery life is decent. Charging cord as with many have become small and flimsy so care should be taken to not damage the cord or the power slot.

Great budget laptop

Its not a high end gaming machine but it runs all the apps we need, including Quickbooks. Starts up in seconds and battery life is good. Only negative is the screen is easily washed out in sunlight. Overall, glad I got it.

super happy with my purchase

I took it out of Smode and it's still really fast. I can keep more windows open then I thought for an 8GB RAM. The battery is super awesome too. The camera and screen resolution not the greatest but really great for the price. I highly recommend it! I am super happy with it
