Opened the box and within about 5 minutes was running Windows. Quick transfer from my usb drive. Design is compact, slim and very light. Nice design of the screen hinge folds to create a better angle. Screen itself is extremely pleasant to look at for extended periods. I use the computer for all of my Zoom classes for 6 plus hours a day. Battery life typical with extended video use -2 hours. But when surfing without video or working on documents can go up to 3 / 4 hours yes it is made of plastic but honesty it is fine. It is fast with the SSD and 7 processor and with the 17.3 screen you get a very nice large image.

I was looking for a fast laptop with plenty of storage and a lot of memory. This PC checks all of the boxes! it has a fast startup and is a pleasure to use!

Fantastic laptop. Very fast and great screen. I have a desktop with a 2080ti, i9, etc. But honestly, this thing seems just as fast! Very impressed.

This seems to be a fast reliable laptop so far but there is not a back light for keyboard which is very annoying when that is what I purchased! Why does the description say there is a backlight? I'm not sure if I want to return it yet or not.

Fast, large screen and lightweight. After I purchased this for myself, my "gaming" husband began to use it. Had to buy him one too.

truly needed to upgrade and this fit the bill,17.3" screen is great and the price you cant beat,and a couple of keys do light up, : )

Great computer! Fast, reliable, great price. Doesn't have a DVD drive, however it is easy to use one on the usb slot.

I found myself having to replace a laptop without much notice. Research showed this to be a good choice. I have had it about a month, and I LOVE it. It could not have been easier to set up for initial use, and transferring files worked perfectly from drive to drive. It starts up from power off within about 15 seconds, and it processes large amounts of data quickly and efficiently. I've never had an ASUS product before, and so far, I am a very satisfied customer.

I looked for a laptop for a long time and glad I decided on this one. I love the large screen and it works great!

The display on the monitor is very clear and the computer is moving at fast speeds for internet browsing so far.

The performance is decent and the monitor is really good, for the price. I cannot get over the keyboard layout, and lack of [Best Buy advertised] backlighting. If you are planning on docking and using a conventional keyboard it would be fine, but then you need a separate monitor attached. USB-C port - Best Buy says USB-C, ASUS marketing says USB-C 3.2, ASUS manual says USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-C. I still have no idea what this port does, but it doesn't work with my new ASUS monitor. It is impossible to use the keyboard in the dark. The dark grey labels on light grey keys only works in bright light. The <page up> and <page down> by delete key in top row, not by arrow keys. There is no difference in key spacing by the delete key to help guide where to put your fingers, so I generally cannot find the misplaced <page up> and <page down> keys without turning on a light. Not sure if ASUS or Lenovo are right, but (<ctrl> and <fn> keys are opposite, so when I switch between my work and personal computers I am constantly missing <CTRL> functions. The touchpad often misinterprets a single finger click (left mouse) as dual finger (right mouse), bringing up right click menus. The only remedy is to click somewhere else onscreen, then go back to what you clicked on and hope it will take the left-click.

This is a great computer, I’m over all happy with it! The only complaint is the that mouse area is super touchy

This computer has 12g ram and thats an upgrade from my last laptop with just 4g ram. I have no complains!

I've been testing every aspect of this laptop and it's amazing. Fast, fast, and faster. Excellent choice!

I gor this computer to replace and old HP as a general purpose computer. I use it for a combination of programming, web surfing and audio file processing. It excels at all. While this uses a last generation Ryzen processor, it is very fast. In processing very large (10GB+) audio files, it is about 4 times faster than my 9th generation i5.

Buy for my dad , good price , big screen , light , look ok , build plastic but fair
