I bought this computer to replace my 10 year old Sony Viao but internet searches were much slower on this new computer.

Had it just past the return date when it updated and we couldn't log on. Cost $149 to get it fixed.

After using the laptop for a day I realized I am not a laptop user person so I returned the laptop to get a desktop.

For a super low price, you get a very limited product

Was a good deal. However after about 2 months of use it would randomly shut off and be hard to turn back on. Ended up just upgrading to a Mac Book and haven’t looked back. You get what you pay for. I recommended spending the extra money on a different brand.

I have had this computer for over 6 months and have been able to get online 3 times. This crap will only troubleshoot the connection to my TV, not my WiFi! This is the most expensive paper weight I have ever purchased. Do yourself a favor and save your money and time!

I gave five stars based on how good I think this is for its price range. There are certainly better (and especially faster) computers but for more cost. My need was a computer for occasional travel, to use occasionally at a museum I volunteer at, and as a backup to my desk computer. I didn't want to spend a lot but wanted a disk drive. I was a software developer and software engineering manager but do NOT want to my home equipment to be projects. So it was important to me that you can more or less turn the thing on and it works easily. The Best Buy clerk (VERY knowledgeable) steered me to this Asus pointing out how the metal case shell was much stronger and tougher than the all plastic Dell next to it. It does "feel" good. Startup was pretty easy except the Windows 10 updates were interminable and loading Office 365 was slightly clunky - but that's Microsoft, not the lap top. It seems to have a battery life similar to what I think is claimed which is about four hours. The screen is above average. Of course, I've only had it a few days, so I don't know about its longevity yet. And it doesn't know about mine.

Recd laptop and had a few problems from strat but thought it would be OK until today the 15th from delivery any it will not start. Getting the runaround. Say I can’t return. And will have to drive 90 miles to a store. Not happy

Took it back within two weeks and they didn't even attempt to fix it. Refunded my money and I bought an HP instead. It kept going to black screen and the processor was very slow

I have had this just over a year and it just shuts off randomly and often. I don't have time to continually wait for it turn on 20 times a day.
