Great Router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had 2 so called top of the line routers before this one. Both of those would drop signal regularly and kick everyone off the internet. I bought this one based on reviews and the salesman recommendation and it has worked flawlessly since I set it up!

All Around Great Router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.> Easy setup > Very good range (I've only attached 1 antenna and it still provides 4 bars from 2nd floor down to the far corner of the basement) > Very configurable via browser > Stunningly attractive (wait, that's me) > Okay, the router is cute, too

Excellent router for streaming/every day use
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. While not as user friendly some other models I've used, this is a very capable router. I stream HD video throughout the day and haven't had any issues with buffering. While most would say this is due to a good internet connection, I've tried a couple other routers that had issues keeping up. I also have 2 other fairly heavy users in my house and we haven't had any issues. The initial setup is what you would expect for most home routers, step by step configuration. I was able to configure port forwarding for several of my apps. From a cosmetic standpoint, there's an option to turn off front facing LED's which is something that's handy as this is in a bedroom. This model is a year or so old but still highly capable of everything I need for a fraction of what they cost when they came out new. I'd highly recommend this router to anyone looking to replace/upgrade.

Best you can buy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the best routers I have ever bought. I like to stream music while I'm cooking outside on the grill and I always have a connection. My house is 2500 sq ft and a 1/2 acre yard. I can be all the way in the back of the yard and still get a signal.

Great connection, easy to use, for a non-tech pers
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This router works great, through walls and multiple floors. Our previous router would lose connection all the time. This router has not lost a connection in the month that we have had it. Love it!

Effective for Wireless Gaming and Video Streaming
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought this router after doing a lot of research. Really needed something that would work well for wireless gaming for XBOX Live. I had a Netgear WDR3400 that seemed to be the bottleneck on my Comcast Blast internet service. Slapped the new router in place and can get 50MB download speeds and 10MB upload. This router is for AC but all of my devices are running N. The output and transmission really just seems to be stronger than the unit I had before since they both are for N devices, so the performance upgrade is in the signal strength, not really in the difference between AC & N. Device was easy to setup and is very user friendly. If you're looking for a great router I would recommend this unit to you.

Best Router I've Ever Owned
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is an excellent router. Very easy to set up. On 5 GHz my computers speed increased 4X. I have IP cameras and they don't slow the system down at all.

Great home router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Router works great in my family of 5 with each having multiple devices. Router is in the basement and is powerful enough to connect throughout my home. Running off of xfinity network we had trouble with the internet and this has solved the issue.

Solid Router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This device has it all, and is stable at all bandwidths. GUI is clean, although sometimes confusing, but has lots of confurguation ability. Most important are the quality and strength of signal, and this router is EXCELLENT in both those areas.

This router is a blow torch!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I waited a few months before reviewing my Asus RT-AC68P router because I wanted to be sure that it was going to do what it promised. It does. My previous router was the Apple Airport Extreme (4th gen.), which was a decent router but had dead spots in my two story 2500 sq. ft house which always irritated me, but not enough to go out and buy a new router until it started having reliability problems. That's when I started looking around at several different routers from different companies, and I decided on the Asus RT-AC68P (2nd Gen.) router. Let me start by saying that this thing is a blow torch! My wifi signal is much stronger and faster in most parts of my house compared to my old Apple, and those dead spots that I referred to earlier are not only gone, but the signal is at 80% in those spots. I have only had to reboot my ASUS once, and that was caused by a Cox cable equipment malfunction, but even that turned out to be a blessing, because I found out how easy it was to reboot this router. Unlike my old Apple, where I would have to reach around behind a TV and other equipment to unplug my router from the surge protector, with my ASUS, all I had to do was press the power button on the router. It couldn't be any easier. When I was first setting up my router I did run into some problems, so I called the ASUS helpline and I am very happy that I did. I have to admit that at first I was concerned because of bad things that I had read in other reviews about their helpline. I don't know what number those other people called, but when I called, my experience was fantastic. To begin, I was only on hold when I first called in for less than 30 seconds. Then once I was talking to my customer service advisor things only got better. He walked me through everything step by step. Then he helped me set up my routers dashboard on my iMac, which does everything you could want, but is still very easy to use. But he didn't stop there, he even asked me if I had an Xbox One, which I do, because my new router even has a setting in my dashboard specifically for the Xbox One to make it work better online. To wrap things up, all I can say, is that I couldn't be happier with my RT-AC68P. From the equipment to the customer service, everything has been an excellent experience.

Solid overall but a little weak
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This wireless router is on par and better than most I have used in the past. The UI is intelligent, as intelligent as a wireless router UI can be. The setup is simple and straight forward and works well with the other two wireless routers I have in the house. The only downside is, the signal for N is a bit weak but no more than any others I have used.

Awesome Wi-Fi Router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I currently live in a 1,100 square foot apartment, and my previous router could not force it's signal through all of the Wi-Fi interference from the other tender. This router cuts through all of the interference and I could not be happier.

Excellent wireless router
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I replaced my Lynksys EA6900 router with this router because the Lynksys router died after three months in service. The ASUS AC1900 router has more range than the Lynksys router did and it is working perfectly. I am very pleased with it.

Replacement Option
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Needed a replacement for my failing router. This model extends my range and was fairly easy to set up. Ease of use is combarable to other router in this class. It is a little more costly but has added features that I can use to tweak.
