My router would get overloaded with our 8+ devices constantly working. I have 2 IP cameras, computers, printers and phones on the network. We steam media daily. Old router would have to be reset daily. I bought this and network reliability improved. I love the settings, they are easy to change and understand. I recommend ASUS routers now.

This router has been an excellent purchase for me. We have over 10 devices in the house connecting to it and all of them get great speed compared to my old (8 years) Linksys router. Easy Interface and well thought out system.

Durable well made router, great range and setup. Paid $199

Replaced a two year old Cisco route with this guy and could not be happier. We live in 2 story 2700sq ft home...all the dead spots we had before are gone and I am even getting signal into my neighbors house. Set up was easy.

This router has been perfect since day 1. We had a Netgear router before and had to unplug it weekly. It does a wonderful job, have not had to reboot. It was easy to setup and you can run diagnostics on it super easy as well.

I needed to upgrade my router from my older one, so I read reviews about various routers and decided to give this one a try. So far it is definitely working better than my last router, however it is still pretty early and I will have to continue to see how it performs in the long run (thus I did not rate it 5 starts just yet).

great router, easy setbup, great coverage, good tools

I'm not a big techie. I like to bring stuff home, plug it in, and have it work without having to get a computer science degree in the process. This thing was up and running within 15 minutes of getting it out of the box. Simple, quick, and fast. Excellent range. Lots and lots of features, 80% of which I'll never understand or use. If I was you, I'd stop wasting time reading reviews and buy this one.

I was in need of a new wireless router so I did some research and determined that Asus, although not a popular brand, was one of the best on the market. It was easy to set-up and has worked flawlessly. I highly recommend it.

I had to upgrade my wireles router since i moved from a 2000 sq ft home to one over 6000 sq ft and this router has met my expectations. I can now get a good internet signal anywhere in my home. Definately worth the price.

This router replaced an high end linksys that did not work with my new internet service with charter. I simply plugged it in and it started working. The linksys simply did not work. maybe it needed a software upgrade.

Has contributed to faster internet activity, greater accessibility to internet to more users in household. Connectivity improved. Advised to spend the $ on a great, leading technology product, and am very happy with it.

I replaced my old wifi router with this one and it seems to do a good job and has helped us use multiple devices at once. However, nothing beats a hard line connection.

This router is very easy to set up. Web interface is highly intuitive. No complaints at all after a month of use. After several years with an older Linksys router, my internet speeds are higher & more consistent on 2.4 and 5 ghz bands. Highly recommended with new iOS devices such as iPhone 6+ and iPad Air 2 to take advantage of AC wireless.

I needed another router in my house to extend my range and since I already own an asus router which works great it was a no brainer to purchase anoher. I like the range of this one and it suits my needs perfectly.

Easy to install. Good coverage throughout our house

This is an excellent router. I was debating between this and linksys. Though the linksys was $20 cheaper at the time, I chose theRT-AC68P. I have not regretted it. The router was packaged very nicely. It even had a velcro tie attached to the power cord. I nice touch I thought. Plug in the network cable and then power it up. It booted up and had a connection. Set up was easy. I also plugged in an external USB hard drive. I now can watch my movie collection throughout the house. It even has an app on the phone which allows me to watch movies on my phone when I am not at home. It is a great buy.

The range and speed is much faster than my old asus

I've always purchased cheaper wireless routers and figured all wifi was the same. Well this one is so much better than the others I've had. I would definitely recommend spending the extra money on one of these.
