This router is one of the best one's I have tried. The coverage is great and the router is very easy to install and setup. ASUS makes a great product!

This router is great. Easy setup and fast wifi. Both 2.4 and 5 have very good range. I previously used Apple Time Capsule which would lose connections every day and needed reset. The Asus never loses connection and connects with a power outage within a few secs. 2000 sq ft house, one level with connection outside on my deck too. You can't go wrong with this router.

Two days before a trip my router died. I ran into BestBuy. The salesperson was awesome and really helped my needs. The new router is much faster and has great range( even reaches a concrete room under my garage from across the house.

Superb upgrade great price! 802.11ac is already hitting the market & this was an awesome upgrade to my old N900. Super GUI User interface & easy install. Added USB 2.0 & USB 3.0 ports expand to use as a print server & network storage server. Highly recommended, in use about 6 weeks, have put it to the test & performs great!

Purchased for daughter. Already have RT-AC68R for myself for over a year without any issues. 68P seems to function as well or better than the 68R.

Internet speeds have been explosive, perfect for when we are gaming and using phones and computers.

I have only had this a month but I am already more satisfied than with my old Belkin which did not allow me to connect in the house. I have dsl through a cable service. I have a separate shop building located 10 feet from my home. This wireless router is located in my shop building and I am able to connect to it in my house at the farthest away room through three exterior and two interior walls with no problems. I did have to turn one of the antenna toward the house for better reception. I am very satisfied with no interruption in connectivity.

This is a good router, it boosted the signal into the furthest depths of my parent's house. We had a less than a year or two old router which died on us. Then we used this to replace it, works wonderful and easy to setup.

I am not an expert. I was constantly having issues with strength of WiFi signal in far sides of my house. Also, download and upload speed was a great concern. I was hoping to resolve this issue by installing a new router. After reading all reviews I decided to purchase Asus RT-AC68P. It's being 3-4 month since I installed new router. I can tell now what difference it makes. I have 3-4 bars signal now in the areas of my house unlike 1 bar to none prior to upgrade. So far, I've never experienced signal drop. Excellent choice. Highly recommend.

This router is heavily used to stream video, online gaming and have found it to function dependably. The setup was very easy and trouble free. A bit pricey and am note sure the speed difference is noticeable to warrant the cost.

I was advised by best buy worker to get this one and let me tell you it is good, from the moment of getting it out of the box it installed easy and the support tech at the router company are great , very easy to help me.

I upgraded from an RT-AC66U and this AC68P seems to be just as good if not a little better. The 66 is discontinued so I was considering making the jump for the 87u but the price to performance and more importantly reliability ratio was not worth the difference so the 68p it was. This is nearly identical to the 68u but the "p" model has a 1GHz vs 800MHz processor so it should be slightly better particularly with regard to reading usb 3.0 nas. Overall I'm very happy. I upgraded due to the 66u starting to fail after 3+ years of non stop use.

I bought this router specifically to replace an older one that just couldn't keep up with all of the devices in our home. Now that we stream a lot of video content to a smart TV and tablets, I needed a router that could handle the load but not break the bank. I did a lot of research on several different models and had narrowed it down to the Netgear, Linksys, and Asus. I went with the Asus because of the quality reviews and recommendations. I like the features of this one, including the 802.11ac compatibility, the 4 Gigabit ethernet interfaces, the USB ports, the processor speed, and the memory. And the phone app that manages the router and network is a bonus! I have not been disappointed - I configured it in about 15 minutes and it has just been rock solid since. I have not had to reboot it once in the time I've had it (about 6 weeks so far). It seemed as if I was rebooting my old router every day. A coworker of mine also bought this same model after doing her own research, and she is just as sold on it as me. As of this morning, the app tells me that we have 12 devices connected to it, and I was streaming video on a tablet at the time without any buffering problems. I couldn't be more pleased with this purchase!

After trying both a NetGear AC1900 and Linksys AC finally found that the ASUS worked the best in our 2-story house. Our house in not a large house but the ASUS was the only router that the signal reached our family room.
