Bought this router to replace an older net gear unit. So far it has performed flawlessly. The features for bandwidth monitoring have been helpful.

This was simple to setup and the range for the wireless is awesome!

I've been through multiple routers. I did a lot of research and the netgear nighthawk and this are very close. I picked the ASUS because on the stats I saw online, ASUS edge the nighthawk out. Plus the interface was rating one of the best and yes... the UI is great! Oh, three floor house, 5,500 square feet and great reception compared to my Belkin 1900.

I recently purchased this to be an upgrade from my $30 7 year old router. I was expecting improvements in every category. While it did increase the wifi speed, and it was more reliable connection, the range was absolutely horrendous. I could not get this thing to get passed 15 feet. The old $30 Netgear router had twice the range of this one. There is no way something this expensive can have such terrible range. This has to be defective or I'm doing something wrong, because the range is almost nonexistent. I ended up buying a wifi extender to help compensate for the lack of range. Now I manage, but just wish the range would be decent.

1,800 sq foot condo with the router located at the other end of the unit. I get pretty good reception. Better than the linksys i had previously.

I checked with my computer guru who said this would solve our reception issues Absolutely the best

Ive had this a few months now, and there's no where I go in a three floor apartment or out on the back deck that I dont get great connection

I was hesitant at first to buy something other than Netgear. I broke down and did and I do not regret it at all. Very secure and easy to get into.

Fast Internet never lose conmention ridiculous amount of range

This router has been great. Recommended by cable tech. I had a little trouble setting it up, but Asus customer service was very helpful.

Great download and upload speed thru whole house. Minimal speed loss. Had a Netgear prior to this one and had over 50% loss at 25ft away.

Very good router I have 2800 sq. ft. Home and Have a great signal all throughout my home and even in the back yard. This router I think is a upgraded version of the ac-rt68r and ac-rt68U so it should last a long time. I have it placed in the upstairs hallway so I can get a good signal.

We set it up easily and also connected a big external drive to the USB port that we're backing up the office computers to. Works great!
