Works great! A little difficult to set up and get going but no problems since it has been up and running!

This product works great but I didn't need it because my cable was the problem not my Wi-Fi

After installation it works fine, I would give it 5 stars if it had been easier to install.

We lost our previous AC router, also from Asus, to a lightning strike (along with our cable modem, set-top box and BluRay player). The last one was certainly a 5, so with a new, up-to-date modem and a new Asus AC router, I had high expectations. On several dimensions, like ease of setup, range, and durability of connection once established, this router delivers, so I can't rate it lower than 4. But . . . when modem and router are turned on--after being unplugged for another lightning storm--the wi-fi comes up but our devices tell us we are not connected to the Internet. To fix this, I have to go back and turn the router off, and then turn it on again. That's a hassle. I need things that work the first time when you turn them on. This happens every single time. Also, the on/off switch feels a bit fragile--I am afraid it won't be long before it breaks. So I'm disappointed, but partly because our previous Asus router was so completely great.

I bought two of these - one for myself, one for another family member. We're both completely satisfied. Don't bother with the Nighthawk - buggy firmware is hampering it's usability and it's overpriced. This router is well made and firmware appears solid. It has SOOO many features that are actually useful it's amazing. VPN Server (for secure remote access to your network), SSH server, wireless storage, wireless printing, backup 3G/4G Cellular modem support(should your primary go down!), IPv6, MAC filtering, the list goes on. This is really a smaller Enterprise class router. It works with every device I own and without a hitch! The UI is great (simple, yet functional) and regular firmware updates are standard. The performance I am getting on Cox with a DOCSIS 3.0 modem is superb. Unfortunately Cox is only IPV4 to the modem right now, but that will change soon - so that should help with any latency issues (which I really don't see with my testing). This thing is SOLID and I really like that the front panel lights can be disabled (we have this in our livingroom). Range is excellent and the transmit signal can be cut back to prevent outside leakage. EXCELLENT product so far.

We were having a lot of trouble with our router. Went and got this one and works great!

Never thought of Asus when looking at routers. Had a Cisco E4200 which was good at the time, upgraded to a R6300 which has served me well but needed added range so I tried the Asus RT-AC68P. My network has never been so fast both wired or Wi-Fi. Internet access is noticeably faster. I have Cable and run the gateway in Bridge Mode with zero issues. It didn't like the R6300. I still use my E4200 and R6300 as wired access points (I have a large house) and usually have 8 or more devices on the network at any time with no problems. With out a doubt the best router I have owned so far. Make sure you get the "P" model it is the latest version.

This router works well, however when more than 5 devices are connected tends to slow down

Not as much area coverage as advertised but still covers needs.Happy with purchase

We used for another level of service and it worked well. Would buy again.

we needed more wifi coverage as our tv is a ultra hd with streaming netflix

It was not fast enough for my my taste. The range was limited.

After numerous hours and time and aggravation of never being able to get the wireless to work on any device for any length of time I finally determined it was faulty out of the box, returned it and got a different brand. My last Asus worked flawlessly so perhaps it was just a lemon.

Most likely this is a great router however I did not use it.

This router has been a great help when trying to get wifi.

It requires a booster for house to house for over a hundred feet.
