friend told me to purchase this. got rid of old twc equipment. easy to install . works great no problems would buy again. a little pricey but worth it

This router was a huge upgrade from my previous one. I usually buy Linksys, and I usually install DD-WRT almost immediately to enable features that Linksys reserves only for their business-class customers. Asus enables features in their router control panel that I've never seen offered in a retail device before. The settings are clear and the defaults are all sensible. None of this would matter, however, if the device didn't do it's main job well of providing shared network access. Fortunately, the CPU in this thing is plenty fast to keep up with many connected devices. We have 5 Roku devices, 7 tablets, 7 PCs, a couple of notebooks, and 3 phones on the network. We're not experiencing the congestion slow-downs that we used to get on our previous router. I'm impressed. Asus makes great motherboards and video cards, and their attention to detail and quality apparently extends to their networking equipment. I would definitely buy one of these again.

It's one of the best routers on the market so far. Also comes loaded with many features. Simple to set up and provides great range. I'm currently using it to cover a 2300 sq-ft house with no problems.

I work in IT and really like these units. I have one at my house for my own use, and find the feature set to be way better than anything else in BestBuy. This router reaches to the level of Prosumer, as it can be used in small offices. I have a client whom I purchased one of these for to act as just an Access Point. I installed it for them over the weekend. It sits in the closet of their medical facility and provides coverage to the entire floor of their office building with dozens of medical devices, lab equipment, and walls in between. I did have a problem with a firmware upgrade, but using the emergency mode I was able to recover in 30 minutes. The GUI was lost, but the settings were still good!

I bought this to improve coverage in my home. I use it with my ISP modem and it works great. Not only improved coverage in a 3 story home, but also made my wifi quicker. No complaints.... Works great!

I'm a total PC novice, but this was quick and easy to install. It works without slowing down- even when we have 5+ mobile devices, 2 PCs, a Wii & a smart tv streaming Netflix movies. No complaints!

I was stuck in the past for so long. My comcast modem and router combo is a turtle compared to this router. I'm getting full speeds on wifi all across my house. Amazing range and speed. Buy it now!

I tend to have bad luck with wireless routers degrading in performance over an extended period of time. Multiple WAPs and consumer-grade wireless routers have crossed my path and not stood the test of time. Based upon glowing recommendations from colleagues regarding the ASUS wireless product line, I decided to delve into what has been the most robust and feature-complete solution I've had the pleasure of owning. Overall setup was uneventful, and the router proactively updated itself at the end of the initial configuration process. This is a considerable benefit as competing solutions have not offered this type of functionality natively. There was a very recent beta update for the router. Upon downloading, a Traffic Analyzer is available. This has been a blessing as my ISP charges for overuse against their paltry caps. In a household of 5, it's still incredibly hard to believe that we're exceeding said cap. The capability to generate reports in such an easy manner will enable me to call BS when their meter is flawed. The Trend Micro utilities that can be turned on provide an additional layer of protection for the family. This is the same unit as the RT-AC68P, but is a unique SKU to avoid price matching. ASUS all the way!

Reviewed many routers before purchase and was impressed with the reviews on this ASUS router. The interface/dashboard is really nice and very easy to use from any device using the APP. My new router was up and running in minutes with about 11 devices. The streaming issues that I was having are gone and have not had any connection issues. I like that you can schedule the router to reboot at a scheduled time. So far this one is a winner!

Painless setup and excellent signal strength. I'm convinced that wireless routers are programmed to self-destruct after 2 years, so time will tell if this one proves to be reliable.

Asus router is very fast connecting four or more devices to the Internet. It was very easy to setup and use in just a few minutes. I am very happy with it, and definitely recommend it.

After extensive research and review I went ahead and bought this router out of the many in the market. There were a ton of features I didn't think I would be using but found useful. It is easy to setup through its interface on the Web browser. The speeds and connection strength are something I haven't seen from a router yet. Overall for the 200 and some odd dollars this thing is a beast for gaming streaming sharing and not to mention it's range.

Got this router from a local Best Buy. This model runs much faster than the one replaced and provides better coverage for the whole house. Very easy to set up. Highly recommended.

The AC-1900 was very easy to setup. I use it to stream movies to my Blu-Ray which is about 55 feet away in another room. No problems with interruptions. I also stream Youtube videos.

This router has power to give me signal down the street. Easy to use and setup. I work for an isp and tell customers about them.

I would give this router 5 stars, but it is still pretty expensive. As far as its' performance, it is amazing. We went from a D-Link wireless N router to this AC router and it has made an extreme difference. We were getting wireless speeds of about 20mb/ps, and now we are getting about 100mbps. This is everywhere in our house as well. The router sits at one end of the house and we still get great reception on the other end. Works great with our XBOX One and all of our other devices. Typically, we have about a minimum of 4 devices going and there isn't any slow down whatsoever. I highly recommend this router!

This is a very fast router, it handles several wireless computers at once and it is very easy to set up. I highly recommend it.

The only issue i had was the buttons on the back of the router were hard to differentiate. Other than that, it was a pretty easy setup and it stopped all my drops and lagging issues. The ability to control certain devices and give priority was also a great benefit.

A bit pricey but you get what you pay for. I wanted extended range and more speed, I got both, triple my old router. Going to buy another for a family member tonight!

Very reliable connection and reaches all the way out to my driveway! Definitely one of the best on the market. I highly recommend it. Also very easy to set up.
